Quoting Obama Verbatim Now a Racist Act

A flustered Obama campaign and their steno media hacks have been thrown on the defensive after Obama's "you didn't build that" line. And no, it wasn't a gaffe, it was Obama allowing us to see what he really thinks.

How worried is the campaign? Worried enough that they've spoken about it numerous times including an ad shot in the White House:

That ad follows two separate ones from his campaign attempting damage control. His campaign appearances are now about backpedaling and proclaiming his love for small business. And the Democratic National Committee produced its own panicked memo, which vowed to "turn the page" on Mr. Romney's "out of context . . . BS"—thereby acknowledging that Chicago has lost control of the message.

But the public just isn't buying the...BS that the DNC and Obamatons are selling and it's adversely affected him in the polls. So that leaves their only fallback as the race one and they get the vile Jonny Chait to bring it up:

Mitt Romney’s plan of blatantly lying about President Obama’s “you didn’t build that” speech is clearly drawing blood. But what makes the attack work so well is not so much the lie itself but the broader subtext of it. Watch Obama’s delivery in the snippet put together by this Republican ad[.] ... The key thing is that Obama is angry, and he’s talking not in his normal voice but in a “black dialect.”
This strikes at the core of Obama’s entire political identity: a soft-spoken, reasonable African-American with a Kansas accent. From the moment he stepped onto the national stage, Obama’s deepest political fear was being seen as a “traditional” black politician, one who was demanding redistribution from white America on behalf of his fellow African-Americans.

 You got that? Chait hypothesizes that when Obama gets mad he switches to "black dialect" instead the nice, soft, calm black professor voice he normally uses when belittling discussing issues with us. You see, us white people are afraid of the angry black man and the GOP and Romney folks are playing on that to help their candidate.

Dude, there are dog whistles that seemingly only liberals can hear and then there is shit just made up out of the air. This would be the latter. Chait goes there because he knows that this was the real Obama coming out, not the carefully crafted populist they want the world to see. This is the Chicago, Bill Ayers-mentored Obama who despises capitalism and wants government bigger than any Democrat could ever have imagined.

Chait wants those who may have taken offense to Obama's attack on small business owners to feel ashamed because according to him they are being manipulated by the GOP tickling their in-bred racist instincts. Unfortunately for Chait and Obama, three and a half years of being called racist for questioning Obama on anything has toughened the skin of most Americans and silly innuendos of racism have little effect anymore.

I'm a Racist, You're a Racist...

Expect racism to die an ignominious death sometime this year. Obama is losing and when Obama needs to get an edge he inevitably pulls the race card out of the special pocket sewn into his jacket. Or it may be his propaganda team in the MSM who does the dirty work protecting their hero.

Either way, we all must be ready to be called racists or bigots at some time over the next 5-months.

You see, in the minds of the MSM and Obamatons The One is The Smartest President Ever so by that measure, he can not make stupid decisions or say inane things. Going further, since he is brilliant and makes all the right decisions, you have no reason to not back him with your vote since he's doing what's right for the country as a whole. So if you do vote for Romney, you did so simply because you do not like black people. Simple, right? Liberals like nuance except when nuance does not help them.

This is not new as we have all found out over the last four years and Matt Welch gathers in one timeline here. It's just being used more and will ramp up the farther we sink into the morass that is Obamanomics. It's the last refuge of a corrupt and impotent administration that has not been able to implement a coherent strategy to battle chronic unemployment and continues to follow the counsel of Keynesian acolytes.

Pretty soon, we'll hit the tipping point where the race card will be used so often (and in cases where it's simply not true but will be the knee-jerk reaction of losers with nothing more intelligent to say) that it will not even sting anymore. If everyone is a racist then no one is and for evermore, those who have truly experienced prejudice (of which there are many) will be left with no where to turn and no one to listen. We are fast approaching that point now and the next few months will accelerate the cycle even faster. The fact that we did indeed already elect a black man and ushered him in with a veto-proof Senate and ownership of the House is forgotten. History is being rewritten as we speak and things that can no longer be blamed on Bush will be blamed on a GOP House that came into power two years after Obama and the fact that racial "headwinds" kept Obama was delivering us to the promised land.

As a Tea Party supporter, I've felt the shock of being labeled a racist when it most-definitely wasn't warranted. It's the only remaining ammunition they have and has been successfully used in the past. This time, not so much.

-Did anyone notice that there was a recall election that pitted Big Labor versus a governor trying to curtail their powers and Big Labor got soundly whipped? I didn't either.

-When I served in the Navy, it was generally considered that 300-400 ships were where we needed to be to project power. Romney believes that but Obama sure as hell doesn't. Expect Russia and especially China to keep expanding. Let's take time to remember the good ship USS Schenectady (LST-1185) and her death at the hands of several USAF JDAM's off the Hawaii coast. That old bitch didn't go without a fight:

Old White Guy Says Black Hero Selling Out Race

This is probably the lowest form of racism because he claims to be on the side of the majority of the minority group:



In Moran's world Col. West--like all black people--only got where he was by rules enacted by the government and to then want smaller government or have your own views on issues counter to those of the big government party is tantamount to being a sellout to your race. It never occurs to the very simple Moran that Col. West attained his success because he worked harder than others, studied to become smarter and developed his ideas after his life experiences. No, to Moran, the only good black person is one who sees everything through the prism of race.

Moran is a blatant racist here but will never be called on it because in the eyes of liberals and the media (redundant, I know) people on the left can never be racist.

For the record; I still have to point this out because the media will never do it. It was the GOP who pushed through the Voting Rights and Civil Rights Acts and it was vehemently opposed by the Dixiecrats including Al Gore, Sr. and Bill Clinton mentor J. William Fulbright.

Return of the Dixiecrats

You may remember the bigoted men of the Senate collectively known as Dixiecrats. They did everything possible to keep blacks "in their place" including filibustering the voting and civil right legislation LBJ was trying to pass. They included Bill Clinton mentor William Fulbright, Al Gore, Sr. and ex-KKK leader Robert Byrd. I had assumed they were gone but their spirit lives on:

Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) apologized Saturday for referring to President Obama in private conversations during the 2008 presidential campaign as "light-skinned" and as having "no Negro dialect."

Who the hell uses "Negro" anymore except old school bigots? Reid is a national disgrace and watching him lose his seat in November will be even sweeter.

But wait, it's not only the Senate Majority Leader but an ex-president:

[A]s Hillary bungled Caroline, Bill’s handling of Ted was even worse. The day after Iowa, he phoned Kennedy and pressed for an endorsement, making the case for his wife. But Bill then went on, belittling Obama in a manner that deeply offended Kennedy. We all knew Bubba was a philanderer but he always played the part of the new-Southerner who was post-racial. Note as I said before, his mentor was a raging racist as was the father of his VP.

This is nothing new, the Democrats have been using African-Americans for decades. They have done nothing to help them, in fact they've instituted policies that have destroyed once proud black families and laid waste to inner cities. Democrats talk about what they will do to make life better for them every four years and then forget them until the next election.

Anyway, this is essentially what we all knew but it's interesting that we will now have two major politicians groveling to The One.

Another summer gone and the kids are headed back to school tomorrow where they'll be subjected to propaganda to get the year started right. It's been a good summer albeit a cold one in these parts. Let's hope the winter is not the same.

Bigoted Blacks and Other Election Anomalies

In California, Proposition 8 was voted for and instituted into the state constitution that marriage is between one man and one woman. This after a gaggle of money was thrown into the battle to vote it down by many liberal luminaries.

The bloc of voters who were most vehemently against gay marriage may shock you as will the response from the tolerant gay community. First the voting breakdown:

With similar results the same day in Florida and Arizona, the scoreboard in popular referenda on such amendments is now Marriage 30, Same Sex Marriage 0. It was the fact that in the most socially liberal state in the country, whites had voted (narrowly) against the amendment, Hispanics narrowly for, and black voters overwhelmingly for the traditional definition of marriage. Amazingly, Los Angeles County, which chose Obama over McCain 69 percent to 29 percent, supported Proposition 8, with black voters in crime-ridden South Los Angeles neighborhoods like Compton voting strongly in favor, while Beverly Hills, Westwood, and Pacific Palisades were tolerantly and disdainfully against.

That's not surprising to me as the black community--especially the church-going black community--has always been vocal against homosexuality among other things.

Now on to the vile response by the homosexual community:

It was like being at a klan rally except the klansmen were wearing Abercrombie polos and Birkenstocks. YOU NIGGER, one man shouted at men. If your people want to call me a FAGGOT, I will call you a nigger. Someone else said same thing to me on the next block near the temple...me and my friend were walking, he is also gay but Korean, and a young WeHo clone said after last night the niggers better not come to West Hollywood if they knew what was BEST for them.

Nice, huh? We lose the election, we regroup and get ready to battle in 2010. Not so the gay community where they hurl racial slurs--racial slurs that would be front page news if they were not used by a liberal bloc.

Tolerance is only applicable when it's asked of conservatives. It's nice to see the era of unity Barack Obama is supposed to usher in starting so soon after his win.

Update: Speaker Pelosi seems to thinks voters as a whole and African-Americans are too stupid to vote correctly:

In a wide-ranging interview with The Chronicle, Pelosi said she believes some voters might not have fully understood the initiative, which overturned a state Supreme Court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage. The measure was approved 52 to 48 percent.

"Unfortunately, I think people thought they were making a statement about what their view of same-sex marriage was," the San Francisco Democrat said. "I don't know if it was clear that this meant that we are amending the Constitution to diminish freedom in our state."

Since it was the black vote that helped pass it, what exactly is Rep. Pelosi saying here?

Hey, I Guess We Aren't Racist After All

Well, at least those who support Obama are not:

And yet Mr. Obama’s strength across racial lines lies at the heart of his lead in the polls over Senator John McCain heading into Election Day. Remarkably, Mr. Obama, the first black major party presidential nominee, trails among whites by less than Democratic nominees normally do.

It finally is clear to the Times that we are not a racist nation. That must really screw up their paradigm.

But wait, they still have to paint the GOP as racist:

America’s political parties grew decisively polarized by race after 1964, the year President Lyndon Johnson signed civil rights legislation that his Republican presidential opponent, Barry Goldwater, opposed. Since then, election pollsters estimate, Democratic nominees have averaged 39 percent of the white vote. In last week’s New York Times/CBS News poll, Mr. Obama drew 44 percent support among whites — a higher proportion than Bill Clinton captured in his general election victories.

See how they did that? The Times neglected history and failed to report the fact that 80% and 82% respectively of the GOP supported LBJ in both the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act and without their support, it never would have passed (as opposed to the Democrats 61% and 69%). Goldwater demurred on political, not racial grounds but it was the Dixiecrats (note they weren't called the "Dixiepubs) led by Al Gore's father and Senator Fulbright--mentor of Bill Clinton--who opposed it strictly on racial grounds. That seemed to slip the mind of Mr. Harwood.

Oh well, regardless of whether Obama wins or not, America has had exactly one more Black man run on a major ticket for leader than any nation in Europe.

Yeah, the guy who wrongly called a group of Marines murderers before he saw any evidence and then lied about it has now tarnished a region of his state where his constituency is as racist. The fact that he hasn't called the city of Philadelphia, which will probably never elect another non-African-American Mayor racist says all you need to know about the Democrats and identity politics.

Add It to the List: Calling Obama Socialist is Racist

Cool, another thing that makes me a racist. Thus far I can't question him about Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, William Ayers, or probably even Richard Daley without being tainted as a Bull Connor. I'm a bigot if I say anything about Michelle Obama, ACORN, voter fraud or his penchant for garbling words when not speaking from a teleprompter.

Now we have a new cause to be called racists:

The hysterical accusations of socialism from conservatives echo similar accusations leveled at black leaders in the past, as though the quest for racial parity were simply a left-wing plot. Obama may not actually be a socialist or communist, but his election would strike another powerful blow to the informal racial hierarchy that has existed in America since the 1960s, when it ceased being enforced by law. This hierarchy, which holds that whiteness is synonymous with American-ness, is one conservatives are now instinctively trying to preserve. Like black civil-rights activists of the 1960s, Obama symbolizes the destruction of a social order they see as fundamentally American, which is why terms like "socialism" are used to describe the threat.

Perhaps we've labeled Obama as "socialist" because he meets the classic definition of a socialist. Merriam-Webster defines "socialism" this way: "any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods". Obama favors big government over big business. He has introduced one the most overt programs for the redistribution of wealth from the rich to the poor that is done through the government. Nothing racist at all except to a paranoid socialist who sees racism everywhere.

Obama is not a socialist purely in the historic sense, he's more of a neo-socialist whereby he is ideologically a socialist but mixes in capitalistic tendencies because hey, what fun is socialism if you're poor? Call it socialism full of greed.

This drivel continues:

This phenomenon extends beyond Obama's candidacy. The conservative explanation for the mortgage crisis falls neatly into this narrative, too; the country is at risk because Democrats allowed minorities to disrupt the natural social order by becoming homeowners. Never mind that this defies all data, logic, and history, the narrative resonates because it allows Obama, a living symbol of black folks rising above "their station," to become a focus for conservative economic anxieties.

You see, us conservatives believe that "black folks" have their place and owning a house is not considered them staying in their place. I guess the fact that it was a republican who elevated a two "black folks" far above "their station" to the jobs of Secretary of State and National Security Advisor while every Democrat administration installed them in token positions like Secretary of Commerce is lost on the author. Note also the highly biased nuanced piece they linked to which I debunked yesterday.

I can't seem to recall or find a single conservative writer who said it was "black folks" or even Hispanics who were responsible for the mortgage meltdown. As I've written, it was any person--black, white or purple--who was given a loan they could not afford--in concert with governmental (socialist) policy that lead us to where we are now. Add in some Wall Street greed and you have a toxic stew of bad loans.

Finally:

Conservatives, now and in the past, have turned to "socialism" and "communism" as shorthand to criticize black activists and political figures since the civil-rights era...

Of course, according to Karl Marx, a socialist could be a communist if they applied themselves a bit more. I don't recall anyone calling Obama a "communist" although he may have some communist tendencies. But it's funny, when I think communist, I think Russia. There ain't too many "black folks" in Russia.

So, today ends our lesson on what is and what is not racism. It's pretty simple really: anything a Conservative says is racist even though it may hard to detect the actual racism. We use code words that are given to us at the Ronald Reagan School during the David Duke course. Anything a liberal says can't be racist even if includes actual slurs (made by a former Kleagle in the KKK who is the senior Democratic Senator)and not code words because they, being liberals, are incapable of being racist.

Come back again next time when we discuss how calling Sarah Palin a c*nt is acceptable political discourse but asking Obama about an unrepentant terrorist who bombed a police station and the Pentagon is not.

A New Low: Playing Both the Race and Anti-Semite Cards Simultaneously

That old race-baiter and all-around shady politician Rep. Alcee Hastings pulled out enough cards to play a hand of blackjack:

Rep. Alcee Hastings told an audience of Jewish Democrats Wednesday that they should be wary of Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin because “anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks.”

So let me get this straight, is Hastings saying that Palin places blacks and Jews in the same category as wild game or is he saying anyone who is seen as toting guns and stripping moose" is a bigoted anti-Semite? The fact that the crowd laughed says to me that Jews--at least the ones in that gathering--still haven't figured out who has their best interests in mind and who is pandering for their votes.

This is a new low and exactly what we have to look forward to should Obama win. The GOP and conservative Dems will hesitate every time they should be criticizing Obama because the rhetoric will be something akin to this. The fear of being labeled a racist will be palpable I'd imagine and Obama wouldn't have to say a word, he could just have his surrogates and proxies do it.

The fact that blacks and Jews have had far more violent run-ins in recent years than blacks and say, native Alaskans or Jews and Eskimo's, I'd say Rep. Hastings is a bit off on the facts but why quibble when an old-time black leader of Hasting's stature is on a race-bating rant?

The Sexism Card and Barack Obama

Barack Obama has had a weapon that no other candidate in history has had at their disposal, the race card. He's used it well and quite sparingly at first. His painting of Bill Clinton as racist was among the more enjoyable moments of the primary season. Watching Bubba twist in the wind for a supposedly racist sentiment was a moment to behold and signalled the day that the media dropped Clinton and went hard for Obama. The fact that Clinton was not being racist didn't matter as the MSM fell hard for the man with big ears and a lot of momentum. Of late, the race card has been dropped wth reckless abandon and seems to have lost the intial punch it once had.

Now we have a nice turning of the tables as Obama has been accused of using the sexist card and just as the use of the race ace was effective at first, this seems to be having a shocking effect as well.

Obama said this yesterday:

"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."

The McCain campaign floated the notion that Obama was saying the VP choice was a pig. He wasn't but this is politics at the highest level and every word has meaning. Ben Smith even acknowledges that the crowd took it as a reference to Palin.

Just as Bill Clinton had to waste time and energy defending himself, Obama now is on the defensive because of the very same tactic he himself used.

I don't think Obama is so stupid as to called Palin a pig but he sure didn't choose his words well now did he? Just as everything was code for "black" when opposing Obama (think "clean" and "uppity"), now everything is code for woman in a derogatory way.

The Obama campaign is trying to regain the upper hand and get back on offense but slip-ups like this are leaving them reeling without any chance of getting back on message.

This is such sweet irony that I can almost taste it.

Update: Some libs are feeling the heat while some are in denial. The campaign has been horrid of late yet the deluded ones say McCain is on the defensive. Maybe I'm just watching a different campaign unfold and the polls numbers showing a massive McCain surge are just made up in my head.

All Republicans are Racist: TNR

This is nice:

All the reporters in Denver were predicting that the GOP convention promises to be boring. I'm not so sure. One reason: There's no way thousands of conservative Republicans are going to hew to a politically-correct message about Barack Obama. Especially with the media goading delegates and activists at every turn--much as they did Hillary's supporters in Denver--I'm guessing we'll have a racial-insensitivity flap every 90 minutes or so. You can almost write the "I found another racist delegate!" blog items right now.

The McCain campaign should prepare some kind of stock response to this sort of thing, almost like one of those out-of-office emails: "RACIST COMMENT AUTOREPLY: SENATOR MCCAIN DOES NOT CONDONE THAT SORT OF LANGUAGE."

It's gospel on the Left that we are all closet racists who hide it well. I would imagine we'll see exactly zero cases of racial insensitivity and that will leave our intrepid little weasel reporter, Mikey, with nothing to do but make shit up.

You may see a few anarchists getting the shit kicked out of them by some patriotic Americans including bikers and vets, but racism? Uh, no unless racism applies to smacking around snot-nosed little punks charging rooms and drinks on daddy's Visa.

We've beat them in our selection of VP, we sucked the life out of any buzz Obama had yesterday evening and now they're going to break out the even bigger racism gun.

Is America Now No Longer Racist?

Democrats for years have said we should be more politically nuanced like European nations and stop being so racist and...well, American.

Now that we have nominated a Black man for Chief Executive--something no European nation has ever done--can we now agree that America is no longer racist?

Fat chance of that happening as identity politics are the mothers milk of the Democrats but at least now their claims will ring a lot less hollow than before.

In the New Lexicon, "Skinny" and "Elitist" are Racist

Man, we've hit an absolute low in this election--supposedly one featuring the first post-racial candidate.

Every word is parsed by liberals and somehow--after twisting and turning and manipulating--is shown to be racist. An Obama ad with two white women is shown to be racially tinged and also have phallic symbols; in fact, phallic symbols are everywhere in ads critical of Obama. How come only Keith Olbermann and his ilk can see them, hmmm...? We have a major (white) Internet columnist going back to "Happy Days" to find an example to back his racist charge. Now that's pretzel logic to the extreme. Hey libs, even your hero is laughing at you and you're too damn caught up in the idiocy to realize what assholes you look like to the real world.

Anyway, this strategy of painting everyone as a racist will back-fire for the Obama campaign because Americans just don't take kindly to being labeled as bigoted. The libs point to the "enlightened" Europeans and say "look, no racism" and I ask, when was the last time a person of color was a serious contender in Italy, Germany, Britain, Belgium or even the untra-enlightened France? As I wrote before, this campaign may just do more to hurt race relations than a thousand Bull Connors because if you label every single thing racist than nothing is racist.

Does racism exist in America? Yes, it does but it goes both ways. Spike Lee said that he wanted to see Washington D.C. become a "chocolate city." Now imagine if, after four years of Obama (shudder) we have a major white candidates backer say "we want to see D.C. vanilla again" what the outcry would be.

John McCain has not said one racist thing the entire campaign and yet he's called racist daily. The recent downturn in polling for Obama coincides with the ridiculous Britney/Paris ad and most Americans are just scratching their heads trying to see the connection libs keep trying to make. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since the "first black President" was smeared as racist as well so no one is off limits.

Exit thought: I'm really happy that Obama doesn't look like a chimp as much as George W. Bush.

Duh, It's Because All Americans are Racist

Interesting numbers concerning Obama and his constant abuse of the race card:

Sixty-nine percent (69%) of the nation’s voters say they’ve seen news coverage of the McCain campaign commercial that includes images of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and suggests that Barack Obama is a celebrity just like them. Of those, just 22% say the ad was racist while 63% say it was not.

Using the race card against Bill Clinton when he clearly wasn't being racist was the first mistake. Continuing to use it against McCain has had the exact opposite effect of what was intended. When your entire campaign strategy can be summed up in two words--change and racism--you really aren't ready to be President of the greatest nation on the planet.

White Americans have had enough of being labeled racist every time they utter the words "black" or "white" and the unintended consequence of liberals political correctness has been to make racist mean nothing. If everything or everyone is racist than no one is. In spite of what Liberals say, most people work with or live next to a person of color, they are friends with them in many cases so when a charge of racism is thrown out for no good reason, people just ignore it.

The other unintended consequence is that more people look at Obama's comment and see it as more racist than McCain because a) it was and b) racism can go both ways and we've been seeing it coming from Black American a hell of a lot more than White America. Have no fear my liberal friends, the media will spin this as just another case of America being inherently racist or probably won't cover it at all.

The people are starting to pay attention and it's quite evident they don't like what they see when it comes to Obama. Maybe I should say that Republicans and undecideds are paying attention because no lefty blogs are even covering this story.
