Business kept me from blogging all week but I did see the Chili Peppers at the KFC Yum! Center in beautiful Louisville, KY. They still rock and broke out a Neil Young tune they hadn't played in a month:

-Don Rickles is 86 and does what Don Rickles always did; take people out of their comfort zones. He made a racist comment about Barack Obama and the world is outraged. I don't recall the outrage when Bill Clinton made a comparable comment in 2008. Whatever, anything I say about Obama between now and November will be racist even when it isn't.

-Did anyone notice that there was a recall election that pitted Big Labor versus a governor trying to curtail their powers and Big Labor got soundly whipped? I didn't either.

-When I served in the Navy, it was generally considered that 300-400 ships were where we needed to be to project power. Romney believes that but Obama sure as hell doesn't. Expect Russia and especially China to keep expanding. Let's take time to remember the good ship USS Schenectady (LST-1185) and her death at the hands of several USAF JDAM's off the Hawaii coast. That old bitch didn't go without a fight:

-The President of Estonia smacks the shit out of chief Keynesian Paul Krugman over Krugman's criticism of Estonia and their government not following the tax and spend line and actually succeeding. I'm sure the famously thin-skinned former Enron advisor and Nobel winner will handle this with class and dignity.

-Liberals like voter fraud. Liberals still hate the late Andrew Breitbart. So when liberals are caught committing voter fraud and Breitbart protege's expose it, I enjoy broadcasting it to my little piece of the new media world.

Redeeming the Irredeemable

Karen Heller does her best to put a shine on the tarnished ACORN image:

Who are these evil, awful ACORN people conservatives keep attacking? Grandmothers and great-grandmothers like Junette Marcano and Miriam McKnight, organizers of the West Oak Lane branch.

"I got sick after the latest attacks. We work so hard. They're trying to demoralize and disenfranchise us," says Marcano, 66, a retired nurse championing increased funding for neighborhood schools. "ACORN means a lifeline to the low- and moderate-income communities. It empowers people who don't have a voice in the community."

You see, us evil conservatives are incessantly "attacking" grandmothers and great-grandmothers because when we can't find any homeless people or illegal immigrants to beat on--our typical prey--old ladies will do just fine. We want to quash those voices in the community and have as our sole mission to keep minorities silent and in their place.

These are the local faces of ACORN: idealistic recent college grads toiling for modest pay, and African Americans, mostly women, trying to make their communities better. "Our members represent the best of their community, they care so deeply," says head organizer Neil Herrmann, 27, who works 60-hour weeks helping the poor.

With everything else going on in the world, perhaps the attacks on ACORN, the antipoverty community coalition, might have subsided.

But no.

And with everything else going on in the world Barack Obama shouldn't have gone to Copenhagen in what started as another one of his moves to get his mug in the paper and ended as another in a long line of political mishaps showing his political immaturity. But I digress.

Note that she throws in the race card in that subtle way only one with a journalism degree from one of our esteemed institutions of higher learning can do. She didn't even realize she was doing it I'll bet since injecting race is as intrinsic a part of these types of pieces as writing a headline. Conservative hate African-Americans is as fundamental to liberals like Heller as breathing.

This has been a cruel autumn for the Association for Community Organizations Now. ACORN, the target of virulent attacks during the presidential campaign, is back in the news, due to allegations of voter-registration irregularities in some states and a tawdry sting operation at multiple offices where some employees used abysmal judgment. In Philadelphia, after a couple posing as a prostitute and law student sought assistance in using underage Salvadoran sex workers, an organizer phoned the cops.

The attacks on ACORN during the campaign were warranted as they were committing voter fraud--a crime in every state...well, except Illinois. Sure, the ACORN people in Philly saw through the sting but they were also responsible for submitting 1,500 fraudulent registrations in the fall of 2008 in the midst of the election; a fact that Heller neglects to tell us.

Heller goes on to tell us of all the great things ACORN does in the city and then gets to this:

The conservative "media echo chamber" successfully "framed" ACORN coverage last year, according to the study "Manipulating the Public Agenda" by academics Peter Dreier and Christopher Martin. "Voter fraud" was mentioned in more than half of 647 stories, without the claim being verified. Fraud is rare, as opposed to registration irregularities, which are common even at the DMV. In most cases, ACORN reported irregularities, as required under law, then acted to stop improper conduct, mostly by temporary employees. At the Philadelphia office, organizers made up to three calls to verify every registration.

See how Heller makes something as important as voter fraud out to be insignificant. One of the cornerstones of our great nation is a free and open election process that is fair. ACORN did everything to subvert that.

Again, Heller doesn't find it intrinsic to the story to mention the voter fraud allegations because it would make her entire story premise collapse like a house of cards.

Why do conservatives fear ACORN? Perhaps because its organizers fought for a minimum-wage increase, angering big business, or because they were early, adamant critics of redlining and predatory lending practices, thereby incensing banks.

We don't fear ACORN at all--to the contrary. ACORN is rotten from the inside out and is the antithesis of what America stands for. They lie, cheat and stand for the things most Americans find abhorrent. It had nothing to do with business or banks but solely with the actions they've taken.

But mostly critics seem infuriated by ACORN's voter-registration efforts in economically disadvantaged communities, among Latinos and people of color, folks who tend to vote Democratic. ACORN reports registering nearly 1.7 million voters in the 2004 and 2006 elections, and 1.3 million voters last year, 144,000 in Pennsylvania, more than half in Philadelphia.

Again, it's not voter-registration, it illegal voter registration that infuriates us. They got a good many people on the voter rolls indeed...including Mickey Mouse and the Dallas Cowboys football team.

Heller continues on with this drivel for a few more paragraphs but this is the most striking paragraph of the entire essay and shows exactly why people are running away from newspapers in droves:

When angry, embittered, increasingly disenfranchised people don't like what they see, they smear opponents by questioning their legitimacy, politics, methods, and goals. ACORN has been targeted by Berman & Co., a Washington outfit known for "Astroturf lobbying," launching fake grassroots efforts through Web sites, protests, and dubious front organizations funded by corporate clients.

"Let us do what we do best, which is to give power to the poor," Marcano says. "These people who are attacking us want the rich to get richer, the poor to get poorer."

When Heller sees fit to include that in this piece, it shows exactly what her mindset is--redeem ACORN at all costs and smear conservatives in the process. Playing the class card is just as easy as playing the race card. However, you can't redeem an organization that is on camera in numerous locations showing their willingness to break the law or assist other sin doing so.

You can put a dress on a pig and it's still a pig. Heller doesn't stop with the dress but goes full-out with mascara, lipstick, a wig and earrings. It's still a pig, Karen and ACORN is still an organization corrupt to its very core.

ACORN Workers Indicted For Voter Fraud Activities

Seven workers for ACORN--a group of felonious liberals community organizers are in hot water:

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Seven Pittsburgh-area ACORN workers were charged with falsifying voter registration forms, with six accused of doing so to meet the group's alleged quota system before last year's general election.

District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. said he's hoping the workers charged Thursday will help authorities determine whether Allegheny County ACORN officials will be charged with requiring the illegal quotas or otherwise directing that voter registrations be faked.

"You should consider the investigation as ongoing," Zappala said.

Six suspects forged a total of 51 cards, a felony that carries up to seven years in prison. The same six also were charged with illegally accepting payments to meet a quota of 20 registrations per day — a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail.

Only twenty per day? These scammers weren't thinking high enough. I would have required the slackers to get at least fifty before they saw any damn money. I wonder if they were paid a "living wage".

Anyway, let's hope they get the conviction and punish them enough to dissuade it from happening again...said with heavy sarcasm.

It's all good for ACORN though, with a chunk of $50-billion in stimulus tax dollars, they could probably hire on hell of a good lawyer.

Thanksgiving Bliss: Franken's Attempt to Steal Election Rejected

Sweet. My heart is pumping immense amounts of piss for Stuart Smalley:

Minnesota's powerful canvassing board ruled 5-0 on a motion NOT to accept rejected absentee ballots in the closely-watched recount between GOP incumbent Norm Coleman and comedian-turned Democratic senatorial candidate Al Franken in a high-profile meeting.

Some Republicans worried Democratic Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and canvassing board member was not going to vote for the motion, but he did in the end.

Coleman is currently leading the recount by a narrow margin. This request to the board was considered a last-ditch effort by the Franken campaign to gain more ballots. Roughly 12,000 absentee ballots were rejected in Minnesota.

Franken has been doing everything possible--in concert with George Soros--to make a mockery of our electoral system. Today he was shot down in glorious flames.

Coleman's looking like he will narrowly maintain that seat and the Dems will not have the veto-proof majority they covet.

The Coverup Begins at ACORN

If there were any group praying (or whatever it is liberals do when they are about to get busted) for an Obama victory, it was ACORN, the group that was most-likely responsible for the biggest organized case of voter fraud in US history.

They knew they were sloppy when paying drug addicts and vagrants to register voters (including the Dallas Cowboys...in Ohio) but it was crunch time because Obama gave them hundreds of thousands in his GOTV efforts. They broke the law whenever it was required and took the heat in the last months of the election hoping that an Obama win would protect them from indictments.

It turns out they were right:

(CNN) -- Community organizing group ACORN, investigated this year for filing fraudulent voter registration forms, has fired two board members it had asked to investigate allegations that an ACORN founder's brother embezzled nearly $1 million.

An internal document from the ACORN executive board, obtained by CNN, shows that members Karen Inman and Marcel Reid were "removed from any office or committee position you may have held."

A separate document says that "the memberships of Karen Inman and Marcel Reid in ACORN is canceled, and they are removed from the Association Board."

The documents, dated November 11, are signed by Maude Hurd, president of the ACORN Association Board.

There's no way in hell they would have removed these members if Obama had lost because, as board members, they know the dirty little secrets of just how ACORN operates.

The investigation was a sham and the Obama administration will look the other way unless and until they are forced to address it. That ain't happening in this Congress, folks.

So ACORN perpetrates fraud against the country and pisses on the most sacred of American institutions--a legal and open voting process--and will end up walking away with no repercussions.

Anyone with even an iota of pride would admit they were wrong and post the video but it's election day and no one in moonbat land has any pride.

An Historic Day of Voter Fraud

And no, not just because we may elect the first African-American or woman. No, it will be day that voting rights were turned on their ear. It will also be the day that the media is either completely discredited or gets rewarded for their overt bias.

Let's discuss the voting nightmare we're about to witness. Cities such as Philadelphia and Saint Louis have seen an increase in voter registrations that have never been matched and thanks to ACORN and other Obama front groups, they will have an impact. Sure, dead people have always voted in Philly but we are about to see an entire zombie army descend on the polls. Poll workers are handcuffed in their actions and Obama could see a million ineligible voters lifting him to victory.

Second, the media will portray every single case of suspected GOP voter fraud as proof that the Republicans are trying to steal this election just like we did the last two (talking point: W. was selected, not elected). They will ferret out any perceived intimidation and play it up to plant that seed about fraud. The fact that they've never mentioned ACORN and the blatant criminal actions they've perpetrated against our democratic system will play a huge part.

If anyone sees any voter irregularities, please e-mail me concerning where and when and I'll start posting them.

GOP Election Board members have been tossed out of polling stations in more than half a dozen polling stations in Philadelphia because of their party status.

A liberal judge previously ruled that court-appointed poll watchers could be NOT removed from their boards by an on-site election judge, but that is exactly what is happening.

It is the duty of election board workers to monitor and guard the integrity of the voting process.

Denying access to the minority (in this case Republican) poll watchers and inspectors is a violation of Pennsylvania state law. Those who violate the law can be punished with a misdemeanor and subjected to a fine of $1,000 and sent to prison between one month and two years.

Those on site as describing it as "pandemonium" and there may be video coming of the chaos.

Expect this throughout the day as Philly pols (and union leaders) know damn well that Obama needs to win Philly by 500,000 votes (Kerry won by 400,000 in '04). Those pesky Republicans will not be tolerated!

Enabling Voter Fraud

ACORN has been in the news for their creative get out the vote efforts. From Mickey Mouse to the entire Dallas Cowboys offense, they've managed to get some dude registered (73 times at last count)for nothing more than some smokes.

So how do supposedly sober Democrats greet this affront to this most cherished of American rights? With scorn and half-truths of course:

From the New York Post we get openers like this one: an Ohio man registered to vote several times and cast a bogus ballot with a fake address... One Ohio man is a conduit to voter fraud, something an organization committed to registering minorities and the poor would risk their reputation? Seriously?

See how Marsh does this, she makes it out as if this is the only case. It's kind of like back in 2004 when they screamed that voters were being kept from going to the polls but it was soon found out that the only case was one in which a Democratic politicians son was busted and convicted for flattening some tires of GOP-owned vehicles. The list of confirmed cases is huge and growing and Marsh knows this but being a partisan shill (and one who watched her candidate--Hillary Clinton--get smeared repeatedly by Obama and still toes the Obama line, which makes her a cowardly shill) she opts to just ignore the facts. Typical Democrat behavior actually.

Anyway, our heroine continues:

Remember when Wal-Mart was found to have employed illegal immigrants? Did you hear Republicans yelling for them to be closed down and run out of business? Of course not, because capitalism and the big shots who run that engine is, above all else, the fuel that drives Republican power.

Love that analogy, kind of like comparing apples and arugula. Here's the difference (and again Marsh knows this); Wal-Mart is not funded by taxpayer dollars and ACORN is. Plus, ACORN has received at least $80,000 from the Obama campaign to pay scumbags and jobless liberals to sign up felons, dead people and famous athletes...and cartoons.

ACORN is ambitious, they are cheating in not just one state, but every swing state they can muster up some vagrants to help.

But hey, if Marsh is so intent on winning that she'll turn a blind eye to those actually stealing someones identity, so be it. I'm sure she'll have no problems sleeping at night because Democrats seem to be short on morals. Plus, anyone who would sit there and watch her candidate get called racist and every other slur and then turn around and support the one who did it must be wholly unscrupulous.

Screwy Louie Farrakhan has declared that Barack Obama is the Messiah. Sorry Louie, the media beat you to that months ago.

The WSJ calls out Sen. Chris Dodd on Countrywide. If a Republican had been in bed with a mortgage lender as much as Dodd and Franks were, it would be on a non-stop loop on CNN.

Obama camp accused of stealing gun group e-mail list. I would imagine that none of the shooters are going to vote for him anyway. Maybe he's amassing the list so he knows whose guns to take first come January 21, 2009.

2008 will be remembered for two things: it was the year that the media sold it's collective soul and gave up any pretext of impartiality and the year that Democrats corrupted the voting system in ways previously unfathomable.

With less than four weeks to go and coming off a lackluster debate, here's what's going on in the worlds of Obama/Biden & McCain/Palin.

Supposed big news from John McCain's camp today. Update: The big news is the Ayers ad.

Sarah Palin is going to drop the ceremonial first puck at the Flyers/Rangers game on Saturday. I expect to hear a smattering of boos but mostly cheers from the decidedly suburban crowd. A gamble for the campaign for sure but remember, these are fans that stopped a hockey game between these two teams so they could watch President Bush speak in the wake of 9/11. Best comment so far from Philly sports fans who are pissed off on a good day:

Good PR stunt by Snider! An attractive, smart, Vice Presidential candidate can drop the puck here anytime and promote the sport. Afterall, the Democrats have been dropping the ball in this City for decades.

Finding falsehoods in a Biden campaign e-mail. It's like counting hairplugs in a bad hairdo...

The spotlight is on ACORN and it's forcing the cockroaches to scurry. This is another Obama mess the media failed to report that is coming back to bite him. BTW, 105% of Indianapolis residents are registered, I would bet ACORN ensures that it's a full 118% by election day. Chicago politics goes national, baby! A whole nation full of "community activists" await the election of Obama.

Cindy McCain seems the quiet mother and wife. That is until you vote to withhold funding when her child is fighting for our nation in Iraq:
