-Alright Eagles fans, we open in less than a week at the comfortable hour of 7:00 PM against the hated Skins. I predict 8-8 with LeShon McCoy having a monster year. Vick will play better since he (hopefully) won't be throwing passes from the horizontal position and Jason Avant may just have a break-out season. Here's to hoping and being a life-long Birds fan means I'm also a hopeless optimist. Here's what we have to look forward to:

Gay Day at Chick-Fil-A Goes About How'd You'd Expect

After a record day in support of Chick-Fil-A--a great American company being vilified by the left for the views on gay marriage held by management--the other side turned out and the result is hilarity. When you juxtapose the pictures of sane, rational people making an effort to protect the rights of Americans to freedom of speech with those of the other side, it's striking.

Every time lefties try to mass their power by congregating, those of us not on the left just stare in amusement because America is a center-right nation and in our general mindset, they are not only worthy of our scorn but ridicule. Think about the Occupy movement: drugs, rapes, murders and dudes shitting in the street. Yeah, that really makes me want to join up and "fight the man".

Below we have a member of that particular demographic showing up that at "fascist" fast food establishment in support of his ideological brethren. The guy probably thinks he's making a statement or something (and where does one buy a shirt like that?) but instead it just makes the dude wearing it look like a fucking moron:

It's funny, America has moved to the left of center on many social issues (gay unions being the most visible) for the most part but even the staunchest independent is not real keen on seeing two guys slobber all over each other in front of a restaurant just for the pure shock factor. And for the record, most of us don't want to see a guy and a girl doing it either.

But the guy pictured above is not just making a statement, he's going right for the jugular by attacking what many people consider to be their personal savior. I'd love to see the guy substitute "Jesus" with "Allah" and see how acceptable it would be. But of course he won't because he's a pussy and knows Christians will not attack him for blasphemy while Muslims will separate him from his brainless head.

Overall, I'd say Gay Day at Chick-Fil-A was a failure.

Meet the New World Douchebag Champion

As anyone who watches the Olympics knows, world and Olympic records are constantly falling. So it is with douchebaggery. As someone who's written about douchebags on a regular basis for ten years (Paul Begala, Al Sharpton, John Edwards, etc.) I consider myself an expert on just what qualifies one to be a raging douchebag. This guy was the former title holder.

We now have a new gold medalist who's pomposity, smug attitude and all-around dickheadedness gave him record scores. Check this out:


My friends, this is elevating douchebag to record levels and even the Venezuelan and French judges agreed by giving him a perfect score. First he talks to the camera and bestows his wishes on a group of young people who are probably just going to smoke a couple of bowls and get a Chick Fil A sandwich because they are good munchies food from what I've heard.

Then our heroine pulls up and berates a girl who's doing nothing more than trying to make a living. The dude goes on and on in his smug shit-eating style acting like he's some kind of fucking lefty super hero while the girl remains calm, cool and collected making the guy look even lamer.

The topper is that he destroys any credibility he had (about 0.00001%) by finishing with the line about being hetero and not having any gay in him. Just a hunch but I think he's probably had gay in him before...but I digress. But he says it like being gay is wrong or something after going off on a great American corporation for supposedly being anti-gay. Way to make your point you fucking homophobe.

 Of course, this asshole doesn't even have the balls to say his name and posts the video anonymously then takes it down because he's an all-around pussy.

I'm more than willing to take the bet that this jack-off gets identified pretty quickly because you know this guy has no friends and has probably alienated every one he knows, including his family, and one of those people will spill the beans. I can't wait until he gets belittled by tons of scorn, humiliation and abuse and we can all savor the schadenfreude together.

Exit question: The over-under on how many times this dude has been laid in the last year (without paying for it) is 1. I take the under.

Update: Our douchebag of the year has been identified as Adam Smith, a CFO/Treasurer of an upstanding company called Vante. He is now the former CFO/Treasurer as the company bounced his ass because of this stupid stunt. It appears that this guy was hated by his employer as much as he was by the rest of us. No company would oust a company officer that fast if they thought he was worth remotely keeping around. Here's their website but I'm linking to a page other than their homepage since that's evidently getting slammed. If i ever find myself in need of their products (and I pray i don't) I will gladly fork over my money.

I Agree With Ron Paul on Something

It's not often the squirrelly little congressman from Texas and I agree but this is one of them:

“He wants to control people’s social lives. At the same time, he voted for Planned Parenthood. I mean, I don’t see how anybody can get away with that inconsistency pretending he’s a conservative. And his voting record is, I think from my viewpoint, an atrocious voting record, how liberal he’s been and all the things he’s voted for over his many years in the Senate and in the House.”

Agreed.

Paul also noted that running on social issues is not a winning strategy and I agree with that as well. Social issues are a distraction and the media knows this. We have the stronger fiscal argument but instead are bogged down in discussions of religion, birth control, gay marriage and abortion. Those issues make the GOP seem extreme and beholden to religious and social conservative groups when in fact the party is shored up by fiscal cons and social moderates.

Instead of presenting our case on getting the economy on track and the exposing the failure Obamanomics has been we keep getting trapped in the minutiae of religion and contraception. If I were running and was asked a social issues question, I'd make it a point to say "my position on that is clear and I would rather discuss the more pressing issue of the economic collapse we've seen under Obama". Every time they broached a social issue I'd say something akin to that. The media knows that Obama's record can't stand up to scrutiny so they avoid letting the GOP scrutinize it.

With the weak field of Santorum, Romney, Gingrich and Paul, I'm hoping more and more for a brokered convention where Rubio or Christie are pushed to get in for the good of the party.

Judicial Activism Run Amok

California was at the forefront of the state proposition idea. The thinking being it was easier to get public questions on a ballot and it also allowed the state to decide some important issues--issues the state legislature would never take up. The first major vote was the passage of Prop 13, which put a limit on property tax increases of no greater than 1% of assessed value. The passage of it shook the nation and horrified state and municipal elected officials. The passage was argued up to the US Supreme Court where it was ruled constitutional.

In further years, many controversial propositions were voted on and many legal cases were brought by the losers. The most notorious was Prop 187, which would have blocked all services to illegal aliens. It passed 59%-41% and every county voted for it except three in the Bay Area. An injunction was almost immediately imposed against it and Democratic governor Gray Davis ended up letting it drop, so it never went anywhere.

No major proposition that was voted for and passed has ever been overturned by a federal appeals court...until today when the Ninth Circus did what they do best and overstepped their legal authority once again:

In the nation’s most closely watched gay rights case, the Ninth Circuit Court divided 2-1 on Tuesday and struck down “Proposition 8,” the ban on same-sex marriage adopted by California voters in November 2008. The panel majority did not uphold a broad right of gay couples to wed, saying it was enough for now to rule that it was unconstitutional to take away a right to marry only for one minority group, when everyone had the right before. The 128-page ruling can be read here.

The panel unanimously ruled that the sponsors of Proposition 8 had a legal right to be in the appeals court to challenge a federal District judge’s ruling in 2010 striking down the ballot measure, but it also rejected the sponsors’ plea to wipe out that ruling on the theory that the trial judge had a conflict of interest because he is gay and is in a long-term relationship with another man.

The majority summed up its ruling this way: “By using their initiative power to target a minority group and withdraw a right that it possessed, without a legitimate reason for doing so, the people of California violated the Equal Protection Clause [of the federal Constitution]. We hold Proposition 8 to be unconstitutional on this ground.”

In essence, the 9th Circus pissed on the people of California who, given the opportunity to vote on the issue, said no to gay marriage. The uber-liberal judges didn't like that because like all liberals, they know better than us peons who didn't earn a law degree. They are the real arbiters and they decide who and who should not be able to decide major social and political issues.

Honestly, I'm agnostic on this issue. If two dudes want to get married, it doesn't affect me even a little bit. As long as the rules are the same and one of the them has to pay up in a divorce, I'm not really concerned. It seems trifling to get worked up about when Obama is spending the nation into oblivion.

But with that said; it was indeed voted on and gay marriage advocates lost fair and square. As with everything liberals lose though, they can't take the fact that very few people actually agree with them and they hate losing so they are going to force it down our throats...er, bad choice of words...make us deal with whether we like it or not.

I'm guessing that Chief Justice Roberts and SCOTUS will take a different view and once again overturn the most rebuked appellate court in the US..

Cheney Reiterates Support of Gay Marriage

I find it humorous that homosexuals overwhelmingly support Obama when he is on record numerous times saying he does not support gay marriage. Of course, this being Obama and all, it may change next week because his position is fluid and the one that he finds most politically expedient will be the one he'll take, but I digress.

Anyway, Dick Cheney has once again said that he is a supporter of gay marriage and he has the right idea; it's a stupid argument for the GOP to battle against same-sex marriage when we have myriad other, more important issues facing us.

Here's Cheney:

"I think that freedom means freedom for everyone," replied the former V.P. "As many of you know, one of my daughters is gay and it is something we have lived with for a long time in our family. I think people ought to be free to enter into any kind of union they wish. Any kind of arrangement they wish. The question of whether or not there ought to be a federal statute to protect this, I don't support. I do believe that the historically the way marriage has been regulated is at the state level. It has always been a state issue and I think that is the way it ought to be handled, on a state-by-state basis. ... But I don't have any problem with that. People ought to get a shot at that."

Exactly right. Quite simply, by banning legal gay unions, we as a nation are trampling on the rights of a segment of the population and that is unconstitutional. If laws are written so that gay unions (or marriage) are the same as heterosexual unions (divorce, alimony, shared property, etc.) then I see no reason that they shouldn't be allowed.

Now if we could only get Obama to the right of Cheney on fiscal policy and not just gay marriage, we would be getting somewhere.

Another Conservative Woman gets Trashed by Media

She was asked a question by a mutant, gay radical about same-sex marriage during a beauty contest and answered truthfully that marriage should be between a man and a woman. She lost because of that answer and has endured the wrath of the gay marriage gestapo in concert with their media toadies. The pageant organizers threw her under the bus as well.

The National Organization for Women has rallied to her defense with all the zeal and gusto they defended Sarah Palin...which is to say none.

Now, Miss Prejean is being slammed for pictures that may have been considered risque' in the fifties but are incredibly tame by today's standard. NBC says it's too blue to show when they are the network that has had far steamier live action on shows like ER and...er, the peacock is so bad I can't name another show on the network.

So here's the picture that the homosexual Nazi brigade is bandying about as proof that Prejean has no moral compass, isn't a Christian and whose opinion should be not only squashed but gutted, burned and the ashes scattered all over San Francisco:

Hot? Damn straight she is. Hot enough to make a gay man straight...er, except for that ingrate Perez Hilton. Immoral? Not even close. If she were a liberal this would be a resume enhancer. Hell, even as a conservative it's a resume enhancer.

Homosexuals are a combined 0-30 in electoral battles to get same-sex marriage legalized. The latest and probably hardest blow...er, most difficult loss to deal with was the passage of Prop. 8 in California. This was it they thought, this was the winner with a high turn out expected and an extremely liberal presidential candidate whom would draw in millions of voters who would support them and vote the measure down.

Unfortunately for them, they lost once again. Now they are turning their wrath on those who they feel wronged them and posting names:

In addition to protests, gay activists have begun publishing lists online exposing individuals and organizations who have donated money in support of Proposition 8. On AntiGayBlacklist.com, individuals who gave money toward Proposition 8 are publicized, with readers urged not to patronize their businesses or services. The list of donors was culled from data on ElectionTrack.com, which follows all contributions of over $1,000 and all contributions of over $100 given before October 17. Dentists, accountants, veterinarians and the like who gave a few thousand dollars to the cause are listed alongside major donors like the Container Supply Co., Inc. of Garden Grove, Calif., which gave $250,000. "Anyone who steps into a political fight aimed at taking away fundamental rights from fellow citizens opens themselves up to criticism," said Wolfson. "The First Amendment gives them the right of freedom of speech and to support political views, but people also have the right to criticize them."

Now just imagine that it was a conservative group doing the same thing, does anyone believe even a little that there wouldn't being a sentence in that piece about incitement to violence or somesuch language? What these gay brownshirts are doing is listing targets and the gay group have already shown that they will attack anyone--old women, blacks, etc.--who had the chutzpah to get in their way. Imagine if, say, a pro 2nd Amendment group did the same thing.

Someone is going to get seriously hurt in this and the media will gloss it over.

Update: Read this and watch this. Instead of calling it a black list, call it a hit list because essentially, they are calling for the all-out assault on those who exercised their freedoms and are setting those people up for revenge.

Bigoted Blacks and Other Election Anomalies

In California, Proposition 8 was voted for and instituted into the state constitution that marriage is between one man and one woman. This after a gaggle of money was thrown into the battle to vote it down by many liberal luminaries.

The bloc of voters who were most vehemently against gay marriage may shock you as will the response from the tolerant gay community. First the voting breakdown:

With similar results the same day in Florida and Arizona, the scoreboard in popular referenda on such amendments is now Marriage 30, Same Sex Marriage 0. It was the fact that in the most socially liberal state in the country, whites had voted (narrowly) against the amendment, Hispanics narrowly for, and black voters overwhelmingly for the traditional definition of marriage. Amazingly, Los Angeles County, which chose Obama over McCain 69 percent to 29 percent, supported Proposition 8, with black voters in crime-ridden South Los Angeles neighborhoods like Compton voting strongly in favor, while Beverly Hills, Westwood, and Pacific Palisades were tolerantly and disdainfully against.

That's not surprising to me as the black community--especially the church-going black community--has always been vocal against homosexuality among other things.

Now on to the vile response by the homosexual community:

It was like being at a klan rally except the klansmen were wearing Abercrombie polos and Birkenstocks. YOU NIGGER, one man shouted at men. If your people want to call me a FAGGOT, I will call you a nigger. Someone else said same thing to me on the next block near the temple...me and my friend were walking, he is also gay but Korean, and a young WeHo clone said after last night the niggers better not come to West Hollywood if they knew what was BEST for them.

Nice, huh? We lose the election, we regroup and get ready to battle in 2010. Not so the gay community where they hurl racial slurs--racial slurs that would be front page news if they were not used by a liberal bloc.

Tolerance is only applicable when it's asked of conservatives. It's nice to see the era of unity Barack Obama is supposed to usher in starting so soon after his win.

Update: Speaker Pelosi seems to thinks voters as a whole and African-Americans are too stupid to vote correctly:

In a wide-ranging interview with The Chronicle, Pelosi said she believes some voters might not have fully understood the initiative, which overturned a state Supreme Court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage. The measure was approved 52 to 48 percent.

"Unfortunately, I think people thought they were making a statement about what their view of same-sex marriage was," the San Francisco Democrat said. "I don't know if it was clear that this meant that we are amending the Constitution to diminish freedom in our state."

Since it was the black vote that helped pass it, what exactly is Rep. Pelosi saying here?

Eliot Spitzer is the GOP's Best friend

Eliot Spitzer is in the news again for saying something that could hurt the Dems chances next November. Licenses for illegals: couldn't take the heat from his own party and withdrew it. Taxing the Internet in NY: The public freaked and Spitzer tabled it.

Now Spitzer is advocating for gay marriage in NY, a position that is undoubtedly supported by every Democratic candidate but one they sure wouldn't want to have to go on record as agreeing to:

November 16, 2007 -- ALBANY - Gov. Spitzer said at a private fund-raiser that he wants a Democratic-controlled state Senate to legalize gay marriage - a highly divisive and controversial issue - as one of its first priorities in 2009, a witness to the remarks told The Post.

Spitzer, a gay-marriage proponent, pledged to help Democrats next November win the three Senate seats they need to gain the majority.

"One of the first things we're going to do when [Senate Minority Leader] Malcolm Smith is [majority] leader is gay marriage," the witness recounted Spitzer as telling some 60 people who paid up to $10,000 each to attend the event in Greenwich Village Wednesday night.

The Dems need the South and Midwest to win, gay marriage is an issue that will not help them a bit I would suspect, thus the Democratic party will now be put on the defensive once again because Eliot Spitzer has Chuck Schumer disease, he can't keep himself from saying dumb shit when in front of a camera or audience.

Eventually the Democrat party will realize that nearly every issue they support is not supported by the general population, illegal aliens getting amnesty, abortion, national defense and gay marriage are the first to come to mind. I'm sure Hillary's on the line with Spitzer today telling him to keep his damn pie hole shut for awhile.
