I know this will surprise many of you but yes, BHO believes that taking from the so-called rich and giving to the poor is the way the world should be. I mean, he hid it pretty well with his war against the "rich" (meaning those making over $150,000 per year), Obamacare, his drive to make as many people dependent on the government as possible and his run-in with Joe the Plumber. But now we have it all out in the open:
Obama's classics always come behind closed doors such as his "bitter clingers" comment (a comment that was way more offensive). He, like all libs cannot say what they actually believe because people would look at them as if they were nuts. Americans work hard, make profits and rely on their own skill and intellect to get ahead and provide for their families, redistributionism is as un-American as arresting a guy who made a bad movie that pissed off some religious zealots...uh, wait...
That's why I'm all for Romney saying "hell yes I said that the 47% who don't pay taxes will never vote for me." That will resonate with people who actually get their ass out of bed in the morning, drive to work, pay taxes, support those who don't and get pummeled by high gas and food prices because of Obamanomics. Of the 47%, I'm sure there are a good amount who are embarrassed that they are not paying taxes and want to make enough to do so.
This race just became the fight of the century with two ideologies battling. One is the side of big government, handouts, enslavement to the state, reduced wages for everyone, insanely high taxes, chronic double digit unemployment and an economy headed over the abyss while the other is one of limited government, reduced taxes, more jobs, higher wages and greater American success. I know what side I'm on and if Romney can articulate it during the debates he'll win this election going away.

Biden Is Still the Reigning Gaffe King
Sphere: Related ContentSo, the word is out that the movie dramatization of Game Change will portray Sarah Palin as a complete idiot and the worst selection for a running mate in campaigning history. But unfortunately, we got stuck with actual worst VP in history:
Vice President Joe Biden had his (5,400,321st--ed) “oops” moment Wednesday speaking in a 49er-crazed San Francisco when he told a crowd at a city political fundraiser that “the Giants are on their way to the Super Bowl.”Generally the VP's job is to stand in for the president, back all his policies and attend overseas funerals. Not all are as active in the administration as, say, Dick Cheney was but he was the exception and not the rule since he was one who was qualified to ascend to the highest office. Generally they are dolts like Al Gore who hope to win the presidency simply by being the sitting VP. It says something about Reagan that he was so well liked, people actually voted GHW Bush in to keep his policies going but I digress.
Biden spoke at a closed event in the city’s financial District at the Bently Reserve when he made the gaffe, according to a White House pool report released today.
The comment by Biden drew immediate “good-natured” boos from the crowd, according to the report by Josh Richman of the Oakland Tribune, who was the only local print reporter allowed to cover the event.
Anyway, we have dumbass from Delaware trying to play to a crowd by using sports as a crutch and he can't even get that right. i mean, Joe, dude, you might as well go to NYC and say that "the Red Sox are on their way to the World series".
Obama is the most amateurish president in the last 60 years and perhaps even the one with the poorest grasp of policy but Joe Biden will go down as the single lamest VP in history. Yes, that include Agnew and Gore.

Thursday Night News and Notes
Sphere: Related ContentBack from Florida. My son continues to play and play well. He threw a kid out stealing second today and his dad is a proud man.
Here's what else is happening:
-Sen. Barbara Boxer played racial politics and then got creamed by the head of the Black Chamber of Commerce for doing so.
-Joe Biden is the gift that keeps on giving. According to Joe, we need to become bankrupt to keep from becoming bankrupt. Gaffetastic:
“We’re going to go bankrupt as a nation,” Biden said.
“Now, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about, Joe? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’” Biden said. “The answer is yes, that's what I’m telling you.”
-The One is losing his cool with his core constituency, which would be the media.
-Nancy Pelosi's Congress was supposed to be the most ethical, bi-partisan and open ever. Ethics? Well, Murtha has made Randy Cunningham look like an amateur. Bi-partisan? Er, no.
-Jackie Mason on Sarah Palin:

TelePrompter-less Obama Makes Bush Sound Like Tony Blair
Sphere: Related ContentIn the latest installment of the What Would the Media Have Said Were It Bush section, we have The One stumbling and mumbling through a day in Moscow:
Mr. Obama has seemed tired here, several times fumbling the pronunciation of Mr. Medvedev’s name and Mr. Putin’s title. Beginning a speech here, he mistakenly said he first met his wife in school instead of at the law firm where they actually met. And he misstated his younger daughter’s age.Got that? He screwed up the name of the Russian leader, obliterated the title of the new-age czar, forgot where he met his wife and got the age of his own daughter wrong. Taken alone each would be a case of misspeaking oneself but put together and we have the continuation of a trend. You take the Most Eloquent President Ever away from prepared text and he's almost as prone to verbal gaffes as his Vice President.
He was quick on his feet, however, while addressing graduates of the New Economic School. In praising Russian culture, Mr. Obama cited painters, composers, dancers — and a hockey player, The Associated Press reported.
If this were Bush, we'd be subjected to an endless loop of the errors on MSNBC and it would be front-page news in the Washington Post and NY Times instead of a blurb in the middle of a story, which tells us it was because he was tired. I guess Bush wasn't allowed to get tired. Besides, citing painters, composers and dancers is something that Bush never would have done because he was an uncultured redneck from Texas so there.
Not to mention the fact that he's now dissed two leaders of major European nations.
He's now off to Rome where he will get the names of the Japanese and Chinese leaders wrong while the media chalks it up to jetlag. He may want to spell Berlusconi's name out phonetically on the inside of his hand since the electrical outlets in Rome are different and the teleprompter may not work there either.

Wednesday Morning News and Notes
Sphere: Related ContentIt's been an interesting week to say the least. Posting down due to work obligations and I don't make enough here to sit around in my PJ's all week and pump out posts.
Anyway, here's what's new in the world:
-Hope and change is clearly in effect as the world is laughing at the Gaffe Master in Chief and his crony sidekick The Bumbler.
-California has sunk to unbelievable lows of late. Can The Governator sit back for a sec and take stock in the fact that leading like a Democrat, spending inane amounts on illegal aliens and taking a non-business approach to environmental issues have gotten him here?
-The ugly face of liberalism. Add Obama to that group:
-Al Franken is now a US senator. If that is not enough to make people think we are a joke, nothing will.
-The Palin saga continues with the obligatory creepiness from the deranged Andrew Sullivan. For the record, she would be one of our better-looking presidents:

Tuesday Night News and Notes
Sphere: Related ContentHere's the headlines and must reads:
-Actor Jon Voight lays it out against Obama in searing fashion. Nice career you had, Jon:
-Frank Gaffney on America's first Muslim president.
-Sens. Lieberman and Graham threaten to shut down the Senate over release of "torture" photos.
-Joe Sestak looks as though he's going to give the Dems the finger and challenge Arlen Specter in the Democrat primary next year.
-A bleak future: double-digit unemployment, inflation on the horizon and now surging oil prices. It's going to be a year before we see signs of a recovery.
-Iranians just not feeling the love for Obama in spite of his groveling and general lap dog approach to the Mullahs and Ahmadinejad and the medias deification. Who'd have seen that coming?
-Israeli's not feeling the love for The One either. He's alienating everyone. Is there anyone happy with him in the world save Kim Jung-il and Hugo Chavez?
-Biden the buffoon is at it again. imagine if Bush had made 1% of the gaffes this dude does.

Did Obama Give away Texas Without Us Knowing?
Sphere: Related ContentAccording to the gaffe-inclined State Dept. they did:
Secretary Clinton is already the most traveled Secretary of State in a new Administration. The Secretary’s trips have included her inaugural trip to Asia, the Middle East and Europe, Mexico and across the border to Texas, the Hague in the Netherlands, Europe with President Obama, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, the Summit of the Americas in Trinidad and Tobago with President Obama, and to Iraq and Kuwait. Now I know The One has been on a ceaseless blame America first, mea culpa tour of the world telling any world leading he could find that he was sorry for the deeds us evil Americans have perpetrated upon them but did he appease Mexico by giving Texas back?
I'm sure his supporters of La Raza will be very happy as they thought it would require a fight to reclaim land they believe was stolen.
I'm sure the Texans will be shocked (and possibly pleased) by this news but they've been arming themselves of late and are probably itching for a battle. Plus, they can now drill wherever the hell they want to and reduce taxes as a sovereign nation. A win-win for them I guess.
How the hell have we gone from a professional State Dept. led by a competent former Provost at Stanford to an agency lead by a bumbling former Senator that can't get even the smallest detail right?

Is Napolitano the Worst Cabinet Choice Ever?
Sphere: Related ContentShort answer: Yes.
The Secretary of Homeland Security is challenging Joe Biden for the title of Gaffe Master of the Obama administration (although the boss is a close third). In the past week, she's approved a report that names vets and conservatives as homeland security risks, said that crossing the border illegally is not a felony and now her latest gaffe may top them all as it alienates an ally:
Can someone please tell us how U. S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano got her job? She appears to be about as knowledgeable about border issues as a late-night radio call-in yahoo.Does Napolitano have even an iota of a clue? People who don't follow the news, have no Internet connection and don't listen to the radio know full-well that the hijackers arrived via US airports. In fact, even the most clueless among us knows that Atta and the others entered using visas and some attended flight school. If it wasn't for a man named Jose Melendez Perez and his thoughtful profiling, the 20th would have entered via Florida.
In an interview broadcast Monday on the CBC, Ms. Napolitano attempted to justify her call for stricter border security on the premise that "suspected or known terrorists" have entered the U. S. across the Canadian border, including the perpetrators of the 9/11 attack.
All the 9/11 terrorists, of course, entered the United States directly from overseas. The notion that some arrived via Canada is a myth that briefly popped up in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, and was then quickly debunked.
We have gone from a very smart administrator--Michael Chertoff--to a woman who doesn't have the first clue as to what security means and she's in charge of our national defense essentially. What qualification does she have? Answer: none.
So now we have a DHS secretary who is absolutely unqualified for the position at a time that Obama is cutting our intel-gathering abilities and al-Qaeda is ramping back up to take us out. I feel really good about our national security right about now.
The only person who was a worse choice for a homeland security position was Golan Cipel who was allegedly Jim McGreevey's boy toy and had zero qualifications for the position.
Update: Allah has some thoughts as well.

Bow to the Saudi King, What Bow?
Sphere: Related ContentThe White House is now saying Obama had to lean over to shake King Abdullah's hand and didn't bow or something. This after we were told he dropped something. Things have become so Orwellian that The One is trying to get us to disbelieve what we see with our own eyes:

Priceless: Even The Guardian is Making Fun of Obama Now
Sphere: Related ContentThe man who is supposedly the best communicator since Kennedy isn't having a good trip across the Atlantic.
First we have the uber-liberal Guardian busting on him for an answer he gave to a question from a reporter. You see, it's all new to him but to us who've been paying attention in the US, it's just more of the same. When you've lost the respect of the Guardian, you've lost the European left. Sans teleprompter he is a buffoon.
But wait, he even screwed up with the damn teleprompter in front of him.
Even Bush didn't butcher the English language like BHO does. What a friggin' embarrassment this dude is.

Gov. Palin Speaks With Media At Ground Zero
Sphere: Related Content
Sarah Palin spoke briefly with the media and the main topic was centered on Ground Zero and the attacks that occurred there seven-plus years ago (this is verbatim from a Hotline transcript that was evidently rushed):
CNN: On the topic of never letting this happen again, do you agree with the way the Bush administration has handled the war on terrorism, is there anything you would do differently? No big, earth-shattering thoughts but still enough to evoke immediate sexist responses in the comments section, which seems to be the typical, liberal knee-jerk reaction. Amazingly, the numerous "bimbo" references seem to all come from women. Feminism indeed!
A: I agree with the Bush administration that we take the fight to them. We never again let them come onto our soil and try to destroy not only our democracy, but communities like the community of New York. Never again. So yes, I do agree with taking the fight to the terrorists and stopping them over there .
POLITICO: Do you think our presence in iraq and afghan and our continued presence there is inflaming islamic extremists?
A: I think our presence in iraq and afghanistan will lead to further security of our nation, again, because the mission is to take the fight over there. do not let them come over here and attempt again what they accomplished here, and that was some destruction. terrible destruction on that day. but since september 11, americans uniting and rebuilding and committing to never letting that happen again.
Let her do this more often as she gets more comfortable on this large stage and then juxtapose her answers with those of the Vice Gaffemaster Joe Biden repeatedly. Old "57 state" Obama will always hold the title on the gaffe championship. She made zero mistakes and answered forthrightly, which is exactly how we thought she would since she is a politician.
Exit note to those who disagree with Palin here: Our wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq have indeed made us safer as the proof is in the fact we've not been attacked at home since. Keep hoping al-Qaeda gets lucky just once so you don't have to hear that anymore, you know it's how you feel.

The Dems Are Melting Down Thanks to Biden
Sphere: Related ContentJoe Biden has been a Godsend to us bloggers on the right, he makes at least a gaffe a day and sometimes we are are blessed with more than one. Whether it be slamming his running mate or alienating a part of the country that is desperately needed for them to win or blithering on like an idiot about FDR when he wasn't in office, it's a Biden gaffe-fest that gets better every single day.
Today we have Biden single-handedly losing any votes in coal producing states that Obama had garnered:
Epic. No coal plants for us but hey, let's clean up China's coal. It sounds like a plan, Joe.
If I didn't know better, I'd think Biden was intentionally throwing this election or maybe he really is that stupid. I wonder if Bill Clinton is paying him off.
I think Geraghty may have been on to something.

The 57 State Strategy?
Sphere: Related ContentI'm guessing in Obama's world, Virginia is "right next to Pennsylvania". But wouldn't that be subtracting a state like, say...Maryland? That would make only 56 states in the US...or 57???
Call me old fashioned but doesn't "right next door" mean, well, immediately bordering? Just asking.
Obama is abandoning Virginia it seems and I would guess because they are all too damn racist to vote for a corrupt, one-term, unqualified candidate. Pennsy is in play and I'd imagine his "bitter" comment is well remembered by the people living between Philly and Pittsburgh. Well, they're all out hunting so I'd imagine most most attend an Obama rally.

Another Day, Another Obama Flip-Flop
Sphere: Related ContentNow he's changed his tune on the 2nd Amendment and the D.C. gun control ban that was overturned today:
ABC News' Teddy Davis and Alexa Ainsworth Report: With the Supreme Court poised to rule on Washington, D.C.'s, gun ban, the Obama campaign is disavowing what it calls an "inartful" statement to the Chicago Tribune last year in which an unnamed aide characterized Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., as believing that the DC ban was constitutional."Inartful?" What the hell does that mean? It's not even a word. I take it to mean that Obama came out on the wrong side of yet another issue and is changing his tune to reflect the current consensus. That's called being a follower and is the antithesis of leadership. There's a great many things you can say about the current president but he makes a decision or a statement and sticks by it. Obama...er. not so much.
"That statement was obviously an inartful attempt to explain the Senator's consistent position," Obama spokesman Bill Burton tells ABC News.
George W. Bush was labeled repeatedly as stupid for making about 10% of the gaffes Obama has made on the campaign trail. Sure, Bush said nuclear "nucular" but his campaign didn't make up words to cover up for his blunders. If Bush looked stupid, Obama looks flat-out brain-dead and is nothing but a rank amateur. I can't wait to see him picked apart in the town hall meetings against McCain.
Don't worry Obama, no matter how much you screw things up, you still have the modern day Edward R. Murrow to carry your water.

Hey Barack, How About They Just Learn English?
Sphere: Related ContentTaking pandering to new lows, Obambi sucks up to the immigrant base:
"When it comes to second-language learners, the most important thing is not to get bogged down in ideology, but figure out what works," Obama says. "Everybody should be bilingual, or everybody should be trilingual." The comments drew loud applause.Of course they did.
There was once a time where immigrants came here to the US and assimilated because they knew it meant that their children would have greater opportunity. My own grandfather and grandmother were right off the boat Germans who learned English quickly and only spoke it in their house. My mother doesn't even speak any German because her parents wanted her to become and American of German ancestry instead of a German living in America.
Everyone in America should be unilingual first and that language should be the English language. Does Obama not understand that English is the international language and the ability to speak it offers one far more choice in careers than any other language? While knowing several languages is a nice asset, being able to speak English fluently should be the top priority.
The longer the campaign continues, the more Obama melts down. McCain will eat him alive come the general.

The Obama Gaffefest Continues
Sphere: Related ContentIt gets funnier by the day unless this guy actually cons enough people to win the Oval Office, then it will be downright scary. Obama and his advisers are making huge mistakes at every at every turn and not just little ones but doozies.
Just over the weekend we have him saying this:
On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong. The guys at Powerline take him to the woodshed and rightfully so as he seems to not only have forgotten what Memorial Day is about but he was evidently reading from cue cards and he made this mistake.
Next we have the flat-out lie that his uncle was among those who liberated Auschwitz when anyone with even a fleeting knowledge of history knows it was the rampaging Red Army that liberated that particular hellhole. It Al Gore saying he was lullabied to sleep by his Mom singing "look for the union label" but more vile.
And finally, we have former Carterite and current blowhard Zbig Brzezinski bloviating about Israel and Jews:
Mr Brzezinski said “it’s not unique to the Jewish community – but there is a McCarthyite tendency among some people in the Jewish community”, referring to the Republican senator who led the anti-Communist witch hunt in the 1950s. “They operate not by arguing but by slandering, vilifying, demonising. They very promptly wheel out anti-Semitism.Kind of how the Obama campaign uses race, hey Zbig? Is anything said by any former Carter advisor worth the ink it's written on? The Carter administration was the worst in two generations and his work since has been devastating to world peace.
The facts are clear that Obama is definitely not ready for prime time (or even late night) and his inexperience will make him easy fodder for the RNC, McCain campaign, conservative commentators and talk radio (with a little assistance from the Clinton's I would imagine).
