Mumia Abu-Jamal Still Guilty as Hell

The Supreme Court has decided not to grant a new trial for the man who murdered Philly police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981:

The Supreme Court said Monday it will not take up Abu-Jamal's claims that prosecutors improperly excluded blacks from the jury that convicted him of murdering Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner.

The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia upheld Abu-Jamal's conviction but held his death sentence invalid. The appeals court said it would not second-guess state court rulings rejecting Abu-Jamal's claims of bias in the composition of the jury.

The high court considered only the conviction. The state has separately asked the court to reinstate the death sentence, but the justices have not acted on that request.

The French will think us so barbaric as they named a street after the scumbag. Well, maybe Obama can apologize for this too since his whole trip has been putting down America and praising the Europeans anyway.

Mumia deserves to fry and the sooner the better. His cold-blooded shooting of Danny Faulkner was cowardly but the international attention and support he has received by lefty idiots like Mike Farrell, Harry Belafonte and Ed Asner has been downright repulsive.

This is a battle that has been going on for far too long and has too end soon. For the sake of Maureen Faulkner--Danny's widow--I hope it does.

Mumia to Rot In Cell Instead of Hell

The man who murdered Philly police officer Daniel Faulkner loses again:

A federal appeals court today refused to reinstate the death sentence of world-famous death row inmate Mumia Abu-Jamal, but left intact his murder conviction in the 1981 shooting death of Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit ruled that Abu-Jamal must be sentenced to life in prison or get a chance with a new Philadelphia jury, which would decide only whether he should get life in prison or be sentenced - again - to death.

The judges left intact his first-degree murder conviction, rejecting Abu-Jamal's claim that he deserves an entirely new trial and a chance to prove his innocence.

That's a win, he was never going to be executed anyway so the simple fact is that he will continue to live his fetid little life in a prison cell where he belongs.

His loser lawyers argued that he was convicted because of a racist jury, a charge that has been debunked numerous times.

Here's me favorite part though:

Other Abu-Jamal supporters were unhappy with the ruling. They said rallies were being planned for as early as tomorrow outside federal courthouses in Philadelphia, New York and San Francisco.

"This was no victory, in any sense of the word," said Pam Africa, a member of the radical group MOVE.

Who exactly did Pam Africa associate with? How about a group that killed Officer James Ramp (who died under heroic circumstances) and was at the center of a case in which a Philly Mayor dropped a bomb on his own city destroying scores of homes. She's a zealot and is one step away from a terrorist. She's also a scumbag who has made a living out of the Mumia case and is never too far from scamming funds in support of the vile cop-killer. She's also part of a group that is widely-believed to have murdered one who crossed them.

"Today's decision is a travesty of justice," said Jeff Mackler, of Mobilization to Free Mumia Abu-Jamal. He said he had been hoping that the Third Circuit would order an entirely new trial based on the claim about racial discrimination in jury selection.

Mackler said he anticipates worldwide reaction to the disappointing decision. "Tomorrow is just an initial reaction," he said.

Sounds like a threat of terror to me. What would be the reactions subsequent to tomorrow Mr. Mackler? It sound even more threatening considering your past, which included running for Senate as a hard-core socialist (the only thing I hate more than a murderer supporter is a socialist murderer supporter) . Maybe you can rally the French populace who are more known for turning on their own country than fighting those who take it over. We can call them the Vichy Jamal Group if you wish.

Exposing Mumia Abu Jamal

Maureen Faulkner has had to live with the nightmare for 26 years. Her husband, a decorated Philly cop was murdered on Locust Street in Center City Philadelphia, the man who shot him was eventually convicted by good police work and hard evidence.

The international Left took up the convicted killers cause and made the man a living martyr and fabricated lies to push their anti-capital punishment agenda. Hollywood celebrities supported the man and rock bands played concerts for him. He was asked to speak at graduation ceremonies from behind bars.

Now, the woman who had to absorb the death of her husband of a year and the grief associated with that also had to watch as Mumia Abu Jamal was exulted while her husband was gone.

With the assistance of lawyer and local talk show host Michael Smerconish, Maureen Faulkner is telling her side: the pain, the frustration and the absence of any finality. NBC excerpts a chapter describing the moment she realized she was a now a widow here.

I've yet to read the book as today is the release date but I will buy it today and encourage anyone who is horrified that the French named a street after a convicted cop killer to please buy this book. Let's really and truly finish this and expose Mumia and those slobbering idiots who support his cause as the scandalous low-live's they truly are. The Ed Asner's and Mike Farrell's of the world must be called on the carpet for their actions and I hope with this book they really and truly are.

This book is not a get rich scheme scribbled out to make a buck like the Valerie Plame book. No friends, unlike the aforementioned Plame and her scumbag husband, Maureen Faulkner truly has suffered and it made her stronger. All proceeds from the book will go to scholarships for kids who've lost a parent to violence (Smerconish details the program here.). The only place the proceeds from Plame's inane screed are going is in Joe and Valerie's bank account.

Please, go to Barnes and Noble, Amazon or Borders and buy the book Murdered by Mumia and show that Danny Faulkner did not die in vain. Mumia Abu Jamal aimed his weapon at Officer Faulkner and killed him in cold blood. The trial transcripts bear this out as does the rest of the evidence. This is the time--26 years later--to expose Jamal as the simple, wretched murderer that he really is.

Open War on Philly Cops

There's nothing more reprehensible than shooting a cop doing his job. That basic American tenet has been thrown by the wayside in Philadelphia:

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Two Philadelphia police officers were shot Tuesday evening while trying to serve a warrant, the latest in a spate of shootings at police that has left one city officer dead this year.

No arrests were immediately made in Tuesday's shootings in northeast Philadelphia. Both officers were taken to hospitals, one with a gunshot wound to the hip and the other to the leg. Their names were not being released.

Both plainclothes officers, who worked in the narcotics division, were reported to be in stable condition.

This is now a common occurrence in the City of Brotherly love. Officer Chuck Cassidy was laid to rest last week after trying to break up a robbery and he was shot in cold blood.

This is the city where Mumia Abu Jamal shot officer Danny Faulkner more than a quarter century ago and the left has exulted him as some type of hero instead of the scumbag cop killer he really is. The French named a street in Jamal's honor for crying out loud!

The liberal exultation of Jamal has led to what we are seeing now in Philly; the police are not only hated but hunted. The rule of law is breaking down and the regime of John Street and Chief of Police Sylvester Johnson have done nothing with the exception of Johnson wringing his hands over a "stop and frisk" proposal recently debated. When the police chief won't protect his officers, all law is gone.

This is what we get from 30-years of democrat rule in Philly...you reap what you sow I guess. Philly is lost because of ineffective leadership.

Of course, it's not just Philly, it's a national trend:

"Something has transformed the mentality of these inner-city kids that killing a police officer is just the price to be paid for doing business of dealing drugs or robbing a store," said Hubert Williams, president of the Police Foundation in Washington.

"We're seeing more and more of this kind of thing," said Williams, a former police director in Newark, N.J. "They're deliberately shooting for the head - they know the police wear body armor."

This is a complete societal breakdown in the inner city and will lead to good cops bolting for less stressful jobs or at least for cities where they can trust the Police Chief to have their back.

Yet, it is particularly bad in Philly and morale will plummet. Thank the good Lord that Johnson is on his way out. Perhaps Michael nutter will consider his first moves include bringing back former philly Chief and current miami Police Chief John Timoney.
