AP Still Pushing the Global Warming Scam

Sphere: Related Content

Anyone who's been paying any sort of attention knows that the Great Global Warming Swindle fell apart back when thousands of emails were released where such terms as "hide the decline" were prominent. Is the earth warming? Perhaps although data is inconclusive and even seems to show the temperature globally going down in the last decade. But it sure as hell doesn't appear to be caused by man or our inventions.

Still, the AP's environmental "expert" can't seem to let it go because, just like Al Gore, his job relies on perpetuating the myth. Here he is telling us about a report from another agency that relies on continuation of panic and finds that the west coast will see massive sea rising:

The study by the National Research Council gives planners their best look yet at how melting ice sheets and warming oceans associated with climate change will raise sea levels along the country's Pacific coast. It is generally consistent with earlier global projections, but takes a closer look at California, Oregon and Washington.

Interestingly, I can't find anything from the above writer detailing the stunning change in opinion of the so-called "Godfather of the Environmental Movement" James Lovelock. Lovelock posited many of the theories taken as gospel by global warming climate change adherents. But as any scientist worth their salt can tell you, original theories are just that and facts may change the original thinking. It sure has in Mr. Lovelock's case:

Having observed that global temperatures since the turn of the millennium have not gone up in the way computer-based climate models predicted, Lovelock acknowledged, “the problem is we don’t know what the climate is doing. We thought we knew 20 years ago.” Now, Lovelock has given a follow-up interview to the UK’s Guardian newspaper in which he delivers more bombshells sure to anger the global green movement, which for years worshipped his Gaia theory and apocalyptic predictions that billions would die from man-made climate change by the end of this century.

Granted, Mr. Lovelock still believes that the planet is warming and we must reduce emissions but he is a true man of science who revised his potion once more facts came to light and his predictions didn't pan. Instead, we have an over-reaching EPA led by Lisa Jackson slowly but surely trying to change businesses and redistribute our money based on theories even Mr. Lovelock now disputes.

I leave you with one last quote by Lovelock:

“It just so happens that the green religion is now taking over from the Christian religion,” Lovelock observed. “I don’t think people have noticed that, but it’s got all the sort of terms that religions use … The greens use guilt. That just shows how religious greens are. You can’t win people round by saying they are guilty for putting (carbon dioxide) in the air.”

Amen, brother.
