What's up?
Here's what's new in the world:
-Is Obama seeing what he's wrought with Obamacare? Maybe.
-Democratic Wisconsin politician and whoremonger to female GOP colleague: "You are fucking dead". I'm glad we are more civil in the wake of the Gabby Gifford's shooting.
-The old "liberal lion" Teddy Kennedy rented out an entire whorehouse in Chile. He must have been slowing down at that point as anyone knows a real Kennedy needs at least two complete brothels to entertain themselves.
-While Obama discusses anything but the rampant killings in Libya, Britain assumes the lead on the world stage. Obama's set us back decades in world respect and leadership.
-Conservatives tend to be better looking people. What, hairy chicks screaming that a governor is akin to Hitler and Mubarak isn't attractive to you?

Obama in a battle of Wits With Walker Unarmed
Sphere: Related ContentThe Obama administration's not ready for prime time act got old a long time ago but it does make for some fun moments at his expense.
Obama had this to say today:
"I don't think it does anybody any good when public employees are denigrated or vilified or their rights are infringed upon,"Governor Walker had this rebuttal:
“I'm sure the President knows that most federal employees do not have collective bargaining for wages and benefits while our plan allows it for base pay. And I'm sure the President knows that the average federal worker pays twice as much for health insurance as what we are asking for in Wisconsin. At least I would hope he knows these facts.Game, set and match to the Badger governor.
“Furthermore, I’m sure the President knows that we have repeatedly praised the more than 300,000 government workers who come to work every day in Wisconsin.
“I’m sure that President Obama simply misunderstands the issues in Wisconsin, and isn’t acting like the union bosses in saying one thing and doing another.”
Is Obama actually still so politically infantile that he allows himself to be set up like this or is he just surrounded by a bunch of idiots? I'm guessing both. Maybe he received some internal polling that said it would be a winning issue for him to back the money-grubbing unions or maybe he just lost a bet to the vile Richard Trumka while knockin back a few during their frequent meetings and had to go out and involve himself in internal Wisconsin issues because he's the light-bringer or something.
Whatever the case, he's getting schooled by a first-term Midwestern governor at every turn.

Senator Inhofe School Global Warming Tool
Sphere: Related ContentSome liberal yahoo went to Capitol Hill to ambush Senator James Inhofe--a leading sceptic of global warming "science"--outside a conference room as he was leaving. Senator Inhofe beat them over the head metaphorically with a plethora of facts. In fact, he whooped them so bad They edited their video down to about 10% of all video shot. The senator outsmarted them also video taping the interaction and getting it out in full instead of allowing liberals to use their usual editing tactics.
Below is the complete video released by Inhofe and here's the edited one put out the would-be ambusher.
Just as an aside, the new female faces of the GOP are Sarah Palin, Christy Noem and Nikki Haley. Now note the girls on the video. Just sayin in my own right-wing, misogynistic way....

We Did Say Global Warming Was a Stealth Redistribution Plan
Sphere: Related ContentAnyone paying even semi-attention knows that the Great Global Warming Swindle was about nothing more that a covert plan to redistribute people's hard-earned money to politicians. Hell, I've been writing that for the last eight years on this blog (officially tomorrow).
As if we needed more proof, we have this:
Successive federal governments have spent more than $5.5 billion over the past decade on climate change programs that are delivering only small reductions in greenhouse gas emissions at unusually high costs for taxpayers and the economy. And that's just lightly populated Australia. Worldwide, I'd imagine that number is multiplied a thousand times and all for nothing. Meanwhile, we still no clear science showing that it's actually happening.
It’s all been for exactly nothing. The precise cost of the 17 programs analysed is $5.62 billion, which equals the pre-tax average annual wages of nearly 90,000 Australians – every cent of it blown to hell.
Oh well, at least Al Gore made his hypocritical billion dollars and can allegedly assault massage therapist's at his leisure.

Monday Morning News & Notes
Sphere: Related Content
Happy President's Day.
Here's what's new:
-George Soros said that Fox News is like the Nazi's. Glenn Reynolds responds appropriately.
-This report says Qadaffi has turned tail and run. Could this be a Ceaucescu moment? BTW, so much for his son "fighting to the last bullet". I'm guessing his squad of hot women body guards (pictured right) couldn't protect him.
-Compare and contrast:
Wisconsin Democratic lawmaker currently in an undisclosed location 2011: "The governor needs to recognize that this is a democracy, and in a democracy you negotiate..."
President Obama in 2009: During his private meeting with congressional Democrats and Republicans on Friday, President Obama ended a philosophical debate over tax policy with the simple declaration that his opinion prevailed because "I won."
-These are the barbaric animals that Wisconsin Teachers have decided to use as an example.
-Gas prices are skyrocketing and the Obama administration is still not issuing deep water drilling permits. That is being changed by legal means.
-It's always been about hatred of the military at Ivy League schools. It's just that now they don't have the false cover of DODT to hide behind.
Update: The Wisconsin GOP shows the hypocrisy in a minute and a half:

The Rise of the Free Market Fiscal Cons
Sphere: Related ContentI've long considered myself a devout fiscal conservative but a libertarian-conservative on social issues. In my purview, elections should be decided on tax rates, spending cuts and deficits not abortion, gay marriage or racial quotas. The social conservatives have held sway in the GOP for decades and wouldn't think of saying anything that would upset Christian groups going as far back as Falwell's Moral Majority.
That's changed and changed for the better as we are seeing a new type of conservative rise out of the ashes of the party. Chris Christie, Nikki Haley, Scott Walker and Tom Corbett are now the ones taken seriously by everyone because they generally eschew the social issues argument in deference to the argument that we as a nation are facing a reckoning that has been laid at our feet after a half-century of Democrat and Republican borrowing and spending. The economic situation is not taking a toll only on Southern Baptists or small business owners but on the black, gay and feminist population as well. It's hurting us all equally as bad fiscal policies affect all Americans--not just those who vote for a certain party.
Christie and Walker are out there as the new conservative standard bearers and saying the tough things people want to hear in a crisis situation. They've essentially called the bluff of the liberal hierarchy and note that not only does the king have no clothes but he's going to have to take a loan from China to buy even a towel to cover up.
This new type of right-winger is not the type liberals have been fighting against for years and it scares the hell out of them. The old version was one who would talk of slashing spending and then spend anyway for those they needed to appease for reelection purposes. The old type was the one who would invoke God, get sucked into racial politics and spend half their time arguing about abortion--all the while ignoring the union influence. Not the new type we are seeing emerge. These men and women are baffling the left because they aren't just not talking about the issues that unite the Democratic coalition but going right at the jugular of the liberal body politic: unions and the money they collect and disperse. Never have we seen this in our recent history. Here we have a new breed not only giving lip service to cutting education and state costs but actively attacking the unions that have artificially inflated those costs over the last two decades. That's the reason we are seeing these protests in Wisconsin and the rage being shown.
The New Breed is fighting the war with vigor but also with a new game plan. Just as defense and war-fighting plans changed after WW I, so are they changing now. In WW I, France won yet failed to update and develop new plans to deal with changing technology that was being invented. They figured the Maginot Line was still a viable option going forward. As history notes, the line was easily bypassed and before the Gallic armies knew what was happening, the Germans were sipping tea in Paris (I see this as a much closer analogy of Nazi tactics then the idiotic signs comparing Walker to Hitler). The New Breed got past the union's Maginot Line of social issues that always bogged them down in the past and went right after the capital while they were looking the other way.
"How is this happening" they ask themselves. Just over two years ago we were preparing for the world-changing administration of Barack Obama--a man who was going to finally implement all those liberal policies they've lusted for for 35-years and now we have these interlopers not only voting against it but actively looking to defund the victories we won earlier and expected could never be touched.
We are living in strange days, folks. We've not had a recession last this long since the Great Depression. We've also not had a recession where only Keynesian strategies were used to overcome it. In under three short years, we've gone seen socialist spending policies shown as farce and socialist labor policies come under heavy attack. All the defensive techniques used in the past have simply bounced off as these juggernauts lay waste to the status quo. They used the "he's racist" canard so often it has no effect anymore. The anti-abortion lobby is powerless since someone who's been out of work for two years really doesn't have the time to argue the merits/detriments of late-term abortion. Even the old class warfare standby has been an abject failure from the federal level on down.
They've run out of arrows in their collective quivers and the only recourse available to them is to illegally shut down schools (causing great hardship to parents whose taxes pay their salaries and now have to pay even more of their money to hire babysitters) and march on the state capital. Another bit of collateral damage is their actions will come back to haunt them when deficit reduction talks begin at the national level.
All because of the New Breed.

Dictatorships Toppling at Nice Pace
Sphere: Related ContentTunisia was first, then Egypt now we have liberty and freedom trying to break out all over Asia.
Moammar Qaddafi resorted to using live bullets and missiles on his citizens. It's not looking good for the old, murderous bastard:
As the violence in the Arab dictatorship continued, a regional medical coordinator in the eastern city of Benghazi said bodies were piling up in hospitals.
"We must be talking at least 150 dead since the start of the demonstrations last week, with many more seriously injured," he said.
"Tanks and helicopter gunships full of foreign mercenaries are fighting gangs of demonstrators. At least one dead man had been hit by an anti-aircraft missile, while other bodies are riddled with heavy machine gun fire."
Fighting has also broken out in the cities of Al-Bayda, Ajdabiya, Zawiya, and Darnah, with eye-witnesses reporting Molotov cocktails, rifles and even antique Arabic sabres being used by demonstrators.
Protestors in Ajdabiya even claimed that it was now a "a Free City" after the HQ of Gaddafi's Revolutionary Committee was burned down on Friday, along with 14 other buildings.
Not sure what his military thinks of bringing in mercenaries but I'm thinking they can't be too thrilled about it.
Meanwhile in China, the Communist party has gone on the offensive as word starts spreading about protests there. I'm guessing if it gets bigger, the amount of people killed in Libya will pale in comparison to what the Chinese authorities will order exterminated.
I guess the real question that needs to be asked is quite simply this: Is Obama ready to take a true stand for liberty and freedom from tyranny? He didn't do so when Iran was on the verge and he didn't when Egypt was on the precipice so I'm guessing there's no way he has the balls to go against China--not with so many more social program's he wants to implement and the only source of money is them. Hell, he's alienated Britain so much that the royal couple didn't even invite him to their wedding.
Perhaps it's just easier for him to hinder the governor of Wisconsin--a man trying to save his state from the carnage left by Obamanomics--then speak out against dictatorships that oppress their populations. in other words, Obama's voting "present" again.

The Union Death Spiral
Sphere: Related ContentHow quickly things change. The various unions still possessing clout thought they had the man and the timing to stage a labor rebound in a country that has seen union membership plummeting in the last few decades. Instead, they gave Obama millions of their members' money (which member's had no say in) with the expectation that he would push for and sign union-friendly legislation such as "Card Check".
Instead, Obama met reality and reality is that unions are dying and are becoming more and more hated by Americans who are struggling to keep or even find jobs while paying higher taxes, gas prices and insurance premiums. Why, many Americans ask themselves, should we in the private sector have to pay 10%, 20% or even 40% of our insurance premium when the unions are bitching about paying 1.5%? Why should we support organizations run by some of thew most vile people on the planet and take an ever-increasing amount of our tax money while giving us shoddy performance in return?
Events playing out in Madison, WI will dictate what strength the unions will have going forward in many states (mine included) and this has turned into an ugly war:
Nine people have been arrested in the third day of widespread protests at the state Capitol.
The state Department of Administration estimated 20,000 people attended protests outside the state Capitol, while 5,000 protesters filled the rotunda and hallways.
Labor supporters and activists have been protesting Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s proposal to strip most public employees of all collective bargaining rights, except for limited negotiations on salary. Walker has said the bill is necessary to close a budget shortfall of $137 million and a looming $3.6 billion deficit in the next two-year budget.
The arrests come after two days of incident-free rallies and demonstrations, as protesters have remained mostly peaceful. State officials did not immediately return calls asking for details on the nine arrests.
Police hand-cuffed one protester after he apparently tried to charge into the state Assembly.
The Tea Party organizers called for a large demonstration in supports of Badger governor Scott Walker and it appears they got a great response based on this picture.
MM has more info including the illegal distribution of doctors' notes to teachers who are staging an illegal sick-out and protesting. She also pics of the signs being carried by those who are paid to teach our children. They are pretty nasty but pretty much what one would expect from the collection of thugs and douche bags up in that liberal shit hole.
I leave you with this picture that about sums it all up:

I'm not sure that's exactly an ally they want at this point.
