This time of year just sucks. No baseball, shitty pro basketball and the Flyers only beat pathetic teams like the Islanders. I can't wait until April.
Anyway, here's what's new in the world:
-Is this the future of healthcare? I foresee a couple of things coming soon; a two-tiered system whereby those who can afford it pay cash and get better rates from doctors or companies just not offering healthcare as a benefit but opt instead for flex spending accounts where employees dictate how much they want to save. Kind of like a 401K but not government approved.
-I have a son who's looking at colleges and trying to figure out what to do with his future. I told him just don't get a degree in anything that forces you to grow dreads and live in a park protesting. That pretty much leaves out anything that includes the word "women's" or "art" and ends in "studies". Anyone with any sense will get a degree whereby the return on investment is years and not decades and where one can easily find a job upon graduation, even in Obamanation. Anyway, here's some data and here's a good essay on this topic.
-Speaking of college: I sure hope I don't pay for a class taught by this raving fucking idiot.
-This is classic Tosh:
-I leave you with Ann Coulter for two reasons: the girl drive liberals ape shit and beats them repeatedly with her intellect and second, she still looks pretty damn good:
