Wednesday Night News & Notes

Happy hump day.

Here's what's news:

-American gymnast Aly Raisman has more balls than Belgian IOC leader Jacque Rogge by commemorating the evil terrorist attack in Munich that left 14 Israeli athletes dead. The gold medal is secondary in my eyes, her respect and remembrance of athletes who shared her faith and were murdered by a gun or grenade will always mean more in my eyes. One last thing: The way that America's Olympians have handled themselves has renewed my faith in our youth. From Missy Franklin and Gabby Douglas showing poise and unabashedly thanking God to all the others acting like good sports, it makes me proud. Missy May-Treanor giving a shout out to the troops is awesome as well.

-This is the funniest shit I've heard all day:

-How not to get a job.

-The Diplomad lays out the case against Obama and compares him with Carter, Devastating. He also channels Neil Young with the headline. A must-read.

-Yeah, we are going to win the war on drugs. Drug tunnels in Nogales.

-The Chicago way, baby! No one really rights what an idiot they are in a paper.
