Spitting Venom

Sphere: Related Content

Things that are currently pissing me off:

-If you are driving in the fast lane and doing anywhere south of 80 mph, you are a pussy driver so get the hell out of my way. I commute 162 miles round rip and you're blocking my way home.

-Obama is about to go on the air nationwide and talk about how he was on the BP spill from day one and then use the occasion of the worst environmental disaster to call for strict environmental regulations for global warming. In the midst of a long recession made longer by him he's going to essentially levy a brutal tax on businesses and expand government farther into our lives thus extending the never-ending economic nightmare.

-Obama has destroyed our longest-standing alliance in less than two years. For the record Nobama, they've fought in Iraq and Afghanistan and suffered casualties and death right beside us and you've spit in their faces repeatedly. Can't wait until President Palin or President Christie can hit the reset button on that one and mend the fences. hell, most people would like to have President Bush back.

-I'm especially pissed that Obama wants to spend another $50-billion to bail out unions that public employee's belong to. For crying out loud, they didn't give any ground when times were good, why should we when times are bad? Governor Christie has them by the short hairs in New Jersey and they are cowering.

-I'm really friggin' pissed that Obama has decided that we need an agency to force "lifestyle behavior modification". How about modifying your lifestyle by playing less golf while the country suffers and modify your behavior when it comes to spending money that my kids kids will be forced to pay back. You may know how to spend my money but stay the hell out of my diet and every other part of my life government has no right to be in.

-And finally, I'm pissed that the Phillies can't hit worth a damn lately. They have the YankMee's tonight and hopefully with Halladay on the mound they can get some runs off Sabathia's fat ass.

Saturday Morning New & Notes

Sphere: Related Content

Off to a tourney in Salisbury, MD with my son. The real baseball season is getting started.

Here's what's new:

-Do the Saudi's fear a nuclear Iran so much that they would allow the Israeli's to use their airspace for an attack? Perhaps.

-Does anyone listen to Nancy Pelosi anymore? The woman is babbling on and on and it always ends up the same: blame Bush. We will look back on this time with utter embarrassment that we had this shrieking simpleton in close succession to the Oval Office. Er...based on who's in front of her in that list, she looks downright intelligent.

-Priorities people, priorities. Money is so much more important than a memorial service.

-Yeah, Rosie O'Donnell is still an idiot. She's also still loud-mouthed and fat as well.Maybe in between your anti-Semitic rantings, you can mix in a friggin' salad, Rosie.

-It's on! USA Vs. England in the World Cup. It's the biggest game in 60-years for the US.

-The ass-kicker-in-chief gets his mojo on:

Failing to Lead

Leadership is a quality that few possess and even fewer know how to use effectively. Sure, some people have that certain something that makes you want to listen to them or follow them but that is not what I define as leadership. Leadership is not only making tough decisions in pressure-filled situations but sticking by those decisions and getting people on board with where you want to take them. Leadership is not being mealy-mouthed and wishy-washy on those tough decisions, which brings us to the current president.

Barack Obama came into office with much fanfare and a country looking to join him. Never had a new leader been afforded the good will (and slobbering press coverage) that he did. One war is raging and another is still iffy, the economy is in the toilet and overall feeling in America were at the bottom. We needed a man or woman who could rally the nation and instead we elected an ideologue who instead of making the hard decisions, took us even farther over the cliff. He forced us into healthcare we don't want and spent money we don't have without a single thought about what is good for the nation. We needed a leader and we got a solipsistic bully who didn't put the country on his shoulders but stomped all over us with is wingtips.

Look at recent events and tell me if there was an iota of leadership displayed. The spill in the Gulf, four attacks by home-grown jihadi's and two major floods in the South. Where's the person we need to go to these sites and reassure a wounded population? Barack Obama voted "present" on the Gulf crisis, never visited Tennessee when the flood killed many and never once alluded to the fact that Islamic extremism has restarted on his watch.

We need a Reagan, Roosevelt or Lincoln and instead we get a community organizer whose only leadership experience has been running for president. I guess we got what we deserved.

Tuesday Night News & Notes

Sphere: Related Content

Not all that much time to write but still following events as they occur in real time to paraphrase Jack Bauer.

Here's what's new:

-Israeli's are organizing a flotilla to help the Turkish Kurds and to help those oppressed in Cyprus. Turnabout is fair play in my book. Israeli's giving the finger to Erdogan and his Islamist thugs makes me smile.

-Speaking of Israel, noted anti-Semite Helen Thomas is outta there. Her anti-Jewish rant finally did her in. I love when the mask comes completely off and liberals say what they really think. Na na na na, na na na na, na, na na na na....goodbye. Dana Milbank feels for the old Jew-hater.

-Former Eagle lineman John Runyan awaits the results of his first election and a battle against Rep. John Adler this fall. Noted Runyan:

“Everybody is going to say, ‘What kind of experience do you have?’” he says. “And I always put it out there: Look at all the people in politics who have the experience, and look what they’ve done to the country.”

Amen brother.

-NJ jihadist busted in NY was "Death to all Juice" guy. Well, he was always considered an idiot for that dumb ass sign but even stupid terrorist's will get lucky one day soon.

-Keynesian policies hav destroyed countless economies. That stunted theory may have finally been sent to the dustbin of history. No, I'm kidding but one can have a wish, right?

-Obama acted all macho and real men laughed. His comment about ass-kicking sounded like a 14-year old boy full of Red Bull instead of the president but we've pretty much grown to expect this from the Smartest Man To Ever Hold Office.
