Mumbai Jews Tortured, Liberals Silent

Sphere: Related Content

As expected, the Islamo-fascists who targeted the few Jews in Mumbai tortured them mercilessly:

Asked what was different about the victims of the incident, another doctor said: "It was very strange. I have seen so many dead bodies in my life, and was yet traumatised. A bomb blast victim's body might have been torn apart and could be a very disturbing sight. But the bodies of the victims in this attack bore such signs about the kind of violence of urban warfare that I am still unable to put my thoughts to words," he said.

Asked specifically if he was talking of torture marks, he said: "It was apparent that most of the dead were tortured. What shocked me were the telltale signs showing clearly how the hostages were executed in cold blood," one doctor said.

The other doctor, who had also conducted the post-mortem of the victims, said: "Of all the bodies, the Israeli victims bore the maximum torture marks. It was clear that they were killed on the 26th itself. It was obvious that they were tied up and tortured before they were killed. It was so bad that I do not want to go over the details even in my head again," he said.

Corroborating the doctors' claims about torture was the information that the Intelligence Bureau had about the terror plan. "During his interrogation, Ajmal Kamal said they were specifically asked to target the foreigners, especially the Israelis," an IB source said.

It is also said that the Israeli hostages were killed on the first day as keeping them hostage for too long would have focused too much international attention. "They also might have feared the chances of Israeli security agencies taking over the operations at the Nariman House," he reasoned.
Emphasis mine.

The political left in this country wails about waterboarding, which may cause momentary terror but is not fatal and does not leave a physical scar. They scream that Bush supports torture at every opportunity they get but when faced with the proof of real torture, unthinkable torture, they are silent. What could the Muslim terrorists have done that was so brutal as to make a doctor not want to speak or think of it?

Look who commented on this article at Technorati. Glenn Reynolds posted on it so it got wide exposure but still liberals say nothing. This was a hate crime--targeted at a specific group of people--that should be a natural for liberals to discuss. Instead, they have thrown their lot in with Muslims and will never, ever say anything that would make Bush look right in the Global War on Terror. Double that for Israeli's. Add in their blatant anti-Semitism or, at best hatred of Israel and you have the vile ingredients of their collective silence.

Two young people who wished nothing more than to practice their religion were slaughtered after unspeakable torture and liberals say nothing. I guess the Obama search for the next Secretary of Agriculture is of greater import.

These people make me utterly sick; people were tortured in ways that were unthinkable and they say nothing. They slaughtered them because of who they are and nothing more. Who knows, they may even have supported right of return or evacuating to the '67 borders. They were tortured and murdered and we hear nothing from those who claim to care. Pathetic.

Other thoughts here and here.

H/T: Jawas.

Addendum: To be very clear, I feel for all the victims but it is abundantly clear that they targeted and used the most barbaric methods of torture imaginable specifically for the Jews.

Update: more here.

Update: Accuse America of torture and the libs are all over it. Here's the Technorati feed. Just as I intimated above, if it's torture against a man like Zarqawi, the libs are all over it. Torture and murder of innocent Jews, not so much.

Update: It's always funny to watch libs try to justify the senseless killing of absolute innocents, isn't it. I like the way they twist themselves like pretzels to get the Muslims off the hook.

Your post is absurd. If you are this partisan -- if you believe that "liberals," or anyone who opposes torture, is somehow okay with this -- you need to step back and place yourself in the real world.

Hardly anyone is okay with this. It's disgusting that anyone is so ignorant that they would torture someone simply for their religious beliefs... I wish I could say it was more shocking than it is.

But to try and turn this around and indict a political opponent because you didn't see them express outrage on links from Technorati? That is ignorance too, my friend. It's the kind of ignorant, partisan bullshit that gets groups foaming at the mouth, acting like the "other side" are a bunch of inhumane hypocrites and evil idiots.

I stand by the post. Terrorism is by far the biggest threat the world faces and libs would rather discuss Gates and Hillary.

The murdered and tortured many and it's not of enough import to even comment on?

BTW, Technorati is the measure of how an article is linked and by whom, the article in question was the first to detail the torture.

One day, libs will take note that gay marriage, higher taxes and abortion rights don't mean a damn thing when people are getting slaughtered in terror attacks. I hope by then it's not too late.

In response to John. We are not saying that liberals support torture from Islamists in their words and actions, it is their deafening silence and lack of action that speaks volumes.

When US soldiers are accused of torture, however mundane in comparison, the caterwalling by the left, and the endless front-page articles in the press, the countless statements by liberals, the sheer magnitude of the outrage by the left speak volumes compared to how little they react to stories of actual torture by these islamists. There are one or two buried articles, a few statements of condemnation, and then nothing of it is ever mentioned again; not a single post, not a single word, no endless discussions about the inhumanity of what the islamists do. They report on it, once, they condemn it once, and then later act like it never happened. When confronted with it, they make moral comparisons to Bush and waterboarding and somehow the discussion always goes back to Bush.

The worst that has ever been proven about american treatment of the islamists is short series of pictures of naked prisoners by a small group of morons in Abu Graib, and a few cases of waterboarding by the CIA. I would take those anyday compared to typical islamist torture techniques; having holes drilled in my knees and elbows and having blowtorches used to burn off parts of my body right before they saw off my head (like what happened to some GIs who were captured by al-queda), or being hung naked upside down by the ankles and gang raped like what they did to a female GI, and various other sources of mideival torture done on a daily basis by these islamists.

When leftists sweep actual torture by islamists under the rug and instead concentrate on alleged US atrocities, that is how you show show support and solidarity to our enemies. It is sick and treasonous, and your feigned shock at the accusation is the epitome of ignorance. I am not buying it.

Liberals are filth, just as bad as the muslims.

What shallow, morally bankrupt thinking that justifies torture because our enemies engage in torture.

During WWII, the Japanese and Germans engaged in torture of unparalleled depravity. They made modern terrorists look like boy scouts. Did the US sink to their level and torture and execute prisoners? No. We kicked their butts without becoming what they were, without becoming the very evil we fought against.

Justifying "a little" torture because your enemies do "a lot" of torture is gutless and morally bankrupt. Your fathers and grandfathers would be embarrassed by your cowardice and your inability to rise above your enemies. What a bunch of girly girls you are. We can defeat them without becoming them. If you can't, then go hide in your closet. We'll let you know when it's safe to come out.

To the latest anonymous dips**t who calls people girly girls. STFU you idiot. If you think we didn't torture people in WWII to extract info (or any other war), you are a moron. If you think I don't condone putting the enemy in an unconfortable condition to find any actionable intelligence, put on a headwrap, like I know you want to, and give me a crack atcha'.

Torture to extract intelligence is just as much a part of war as is blowing the enemy to smitherines. You do what you gotta do. If I had a muslim who had information about a nuclear device somewhere in LA, I would gladly pull his fingernails out one by one till he sang like a bird, if not then I would move onto other parts. Whatever it takes. Don't talk like you know anything about war you pampered pet.

Torturing some Isrealis in a hotel room simply because they are Isrealis is something else entirely. That is not an act of war, there was no useful intelligence that could be gleaned from these people, that is pure anamalistic beastial hatred.

Still, though, trying to nail down some moral equivelance in war is like trying to nail Jello to a wall (or trying to understand Obama's economic plan), don't bother. There is a reason why it is said, "War is Hell!". Meanwhile, you impress no one with your, " . . . What shallow, morally bankrupt thinking that justifies torture because our enemies engage in torture . . . ". It's because of p*ssies like you we lost the VietNam War.

There is a reason war is the last but final option. You fight the war to win. The winner is the one who is still standing at the end and whose objective are met. There is no civilized way to win a war. You destroy everyone and everything in your way till the enemy surrenders, or is simply wiped out. You mention WWII; you are aware of course that the Allies (as did the Axis powers) carpet bombed entire cities, killing everyone, soldier, civillian, women/children, didn't matter. There was no diferentiation between combat or collateral damage. You plowed your way to the capital, period.

Now you want to lose sleep because we are waterboarding, talking about the way we used to do it in WWII, calling people girlies. You are stupid beyond words. The next time you see a soldier, you had better fall to your knees and thank him/her with all your heart that they have done what it took for you to be free to be stupid, otherwise you don't even have the right to look at them let alone spit on them.

Yes, I called you girlie girls because that's what you are. Your fears overrule your reason and turn you into warm waving, screaming idiots. And you're every bit as anonymous as I am. Don't try to pretend otherwise.

It seems you can't form a coherent response that distinguishes between national policy and the realities of war on the battlefield. There's a very big and important difference between what a nation endorses as policy and what soldiers do in the heat of war.

As for your babbling about carpet bombing, spitting on soldiers, etc... well, that's just babbling. Your assumption that those who oppose a national policy endorsing torture are the scum you portray them as is wrong, childish, and just plain stupid. By doing so, you're labeling a very large group of this country's active duty generals and admirals as scum, you know. Do you have the same seething hatred and contempt for them because they agree with me on this subject? Really?

Anyway, when you learn to debate a subject without ad hominem and spittle, maybe we could have an interesting discussion. Until then, you're just a girly girl who's so terrified of the boogey man she can't conduct a rational discussion.

You must not know. The main stream media gave no details. They simply said that jews were tortured before they were killed. That was probably an attempt at good taste, respecting the feelings of the families, and refraining from sensationalism.

That doctor's statement, if reported in the MSM, could have exacerbated the very dangerous tension between India and Pakistan right now. They both have nukes.

I'm an independent and think that if you engage in personal abuse and party hatemongering, you simply alienate your audience.

This isn't about religion. Muslim extremists torture for terrorist purposes, or to make an example of (and punish) any individual or group known to stand in the way of their fascist aggressions. That would certainly describe jews, who have a lot of reasons to be opposed to Iran's power motives.
It would also describe any muslim groups who stand in their way. Shiite death squads tortured sunnis, not because of religion, but to gain power and political control in Iraq for their own group.

Have you noticed the physical abuse obviously inflicted on the captured terrorist? He may not have volunteered information.

That said, I appreciate this website because it is more informative than the MSM.
