Jeez. This guy actually beat Hillary for the nomination?
I don't agree with all that Taylor Marsh says because she's a complete Hillary shill but she does make some points in the piece linked above. Yes, the media were in the tank for Obama once he established a foothold and they were led by blogs and the NBC family. But that doesn't nearly tell the entire story as conservatives have been winning pretty handily since 1980 without media support and in most cases against a belligerent media barrage taking a microscope to every slip up and misspoken.
No, Hillary lost because she is Hillary. What Marsh and the Hillary people don't quite get is that the American people just don't like her in general. Yes, she received 18-million votes but they were Democrat voters who believed in the crap spewed that she deserved the nomination and once that was shown for the farce it really was, she was done. The voters who stuck by her were Clinton Democrats who sold their collective soul for Bubba while he was getting (rightfully) pummeled for his ethical lapses during his presidential years.
Anyway, Clinton lost because of several factors: first, she is an opportunistic liar and when placed next to another, more likable opportunistic liar...well, she looked like the only opportunistic liar in the race.
Second, instances such as the Tuszla story would normally have gone unreported or been relegated to the back pages but with the media supporting Obama, she had to confront the issue and looked inane doing so. The same could be said for every single other mistake she made during the campaign.
Finally, just to rub a little salt in the wound for Hillary Dems, she lost to a guy who makes George W. Bush seem like the most eloquent public speaker the world has ever seen. Watch the clips below via Gateway Pundit. Note that if McCain would make the same mistakes, it would call into question his mental ability and age.
