Terry Moran of ABC said something quite revealing:
APPLETON — A dramatic race for the White House has left candidates bruised and bloodied — but also has brought the country on the verge of overcoming racial roadblocks, the co-anchor of "Nightline" said Thursday at Lawrence University. So they've been "scrutinizing" Obama as a black guy running for President rather then just a candidate running for President? What exactly does that mean, were they intentionally easy on him because he is black? That's liberalism in a nutshell, isn't it? They admittedly treated the man different because he's a minority while putting the screws to Hillary on a daily basis even though she's breaking new ground.
Terry Moran, the co-anchor of the ABC News show and a 1982 graduate of Lawrence University, said the presidential race has been laden with racial and sexual discrimination.
But while political pundits once asked abstractly whether America was ready for a black president, they're about to push aside racial analysis and begin scrutinizing Democratic candidate Barack Obama as concrete politician, Moran predicts.
"We are witnessing the drama of democratic self-government being played out at very high and very low levels," he said.
The media did Obama a huge disservice by not digging and it has hurt him badly. There's more in his closets and McCain will drag it out for the world to see whether or not ABC covers it or not. Well, at least they'll cover Obama's downfall as a candidate and not as a black man.
