Yeah, I do believe.
For eight-plus years, Hillary seemed destined to win the presidency--a foregone conclusion if there ever was one.
Then something funny happened along the way. She picked horrible people to staff her inner circle, her strongest asset--Bill Clinton--turned into her greatest liability and the nation finally got a good dose of what she's about and the enthusiasm quickly dimmed.
Her Chief Strategist Mark Penn is now on the outs and it seems that the only things that matter to the Clinton's and the riff-raff they surround themselves with is money and power--evidently in that order:
Hillary Rodham Clinton is turning to her communications chief and pollster to plan her presidential election strategy after giving the boot to a polarizing top aide because of his work on behalf of a trade agreement Clinton opposes.Penn called in an "error in judgement," I call it the most clear example yet that Clinton's people believe it's over. Why would a man who was a shoo-in for a top cabinet post go against the woman he works for and push for an agreement she's adamantly against? Quite simply, he knows Obama is going to win the nomination and didn't want to lose out on the money.
Mark Penn, a lightning rod for controversy throughout Clinton's presidential campaign, left the campaign Sunday after it was disclosed he had met with representatives of the Colombian government in his capacity as chief executive of public relations giant Burson-Marsteller to help promote the trade agreement.
It's over folks, the Shill will drag it out for as long as she possibly can but she's toast as of now and this example just confirms it further.

She is beginning to make Rudy Giuliani's campaign look like a strategic masterpiece. Of course, the way Bill "helped" Gore and Kerry, she should have known to keep him under wraps . . . which, come to think of it, may have helped his presidency as well.
