Results Trickle In...(It's McCain and Hillary?)

Sphere: Related Content

With 8% in it's McCain by 10% and Hillary by 2%.

Shep Smith is interviewing Fred now and he's banking it all on South Carolina. I think he may win it once Huck mania has a second to die down. I know, that may be serious wishful thinking.

Fred lays it out; South Carolina is his "firewall". Indeed.

A question: how smart or dumb was it for Giuliani to not make a play in these early primaries?

Update: Top o' the hour and it's still Hill by 2% and McCain by 9%. All results in in four minutes as all polls close.

Update: Hillary may make it a race, which may shift a bit of momentum her way? Hill by 2% with 11% reporting and by McCain by 9% with the same precincts reporting. The turnout for the Dems when compared to the GOP is striking. Either Obama or Hillary seems to have grabbed the Independents and some Republican's--my guess is it's the former rather than the latter.

Update: At 2011, Fox News call it for John McCain. A spectacular comeback from the Maverick considering he plummeted on the immigration issue. Bill Kristol credits General Petraeus for McCain's comeback. Either way, McCain is in it at least until Super Tuesday I'd suspect.

Here's how I feel about McCain--a man I supported in 2000. Remember, he was talked about as a VP candidate for Lieberman in 2004.

Update: 14% in and Hill's increased to 5%--she's not going to shock the world is she? No. Yes!

Update: 2044, Hill by 4% with 21% in.

Update: 2055: Hillary by 6% now 26% reporting. Interesting for sure. Silky at 17%. He, like Fred, needs South Carolina or he's toast.

Update: 2100 straight up. Hillary by 4% with28% reporting. Huck's conceding and he's upbeat but the guy would be the downfall of the party--a concept that in principal may not be as bad as it seems at first blush. Huck got whacked by 25% btw. Telling? I don't quite know but it should slow down the slobbering the media has been doing of late.

Update: 2141: Hillary may have done it. I guess the dead voted early and often or the pollers are a bunch of buffoons. I'd believe either theory. Hillary by 3% with nearly half in without the college towns reporting.

Update: 2213, damn, the Glacier may well win. Hillary is saving her campaign--please don't tell me it was the tears yesterday. BTW, a note to Silky, get out, take your wife and kids home--she has cancer and shouldn't be on the road. You gave it a try and in four or eight more years, I'll be here to bust on you again.

Update: 2224, Silky...blah, blah, blah. Time to log off and go up to bed. Unlike Silky's supporter's, I have to get up and go to work because I don't want his entitlements or handouts.

Update: Fox and everyone else call it for the Shill. All it took was a tear, sometimes I'm ashamed of our politicial system.

Update (1/9/07): She's alive! Alive.
