Obama Support Dropping?

It appears so.

When Obama was pushing Obamacare, one of his biggest supporters was AARP. I pretty much vowed then not to ever join or have anything to do with them. Yea, a good business move at the time but at the cost of destroying the best health care system in the world.

But what about 2012? Well, it appears Obama's old buddies are bailing out:

“While we respect the rights of each campaign to make its case to voters, AARP has never consented to the use of its name by any candidate or political campaign,” the group posted in a statement. “AARP is a nonpartisan organization and we do not endorse political candidates nor coordinate with any candidate or political party.”

Hmmmm, I wonder why that is. They were all up in Obama's ass back when crucial decisions were being made. You know, decisions like whether to actively support or not the specter of government deciding if you really need that hip replacement.
