Saturday Morning News & Notes

Sphere: Related Content

Mornin all. Yard work beckons but I wanted to bring a few must-reads/sees to your attention.

-The right-wing 'sphere is really good at mobilizing and rebutting Dem talking points. Better yet, we are getting better at ridiculing every single Obama campaign release. Bill Whittle and Andrew Klavan give Obama's 17-minute long campaign commercial the treatment it deserves:

-Half a million Americans dropped out of the job market allowing Obama to claim an unemployment reduction. That's 500,000 people that just gave up hope and are now relegated to living on food stamps and other government subsidies. Has any administration cooked the books more than the current one? BTW, the unemployment rate in the black community is enormous.

-Gov. Christie has beaten the unions into submission it appears.

-Speaking of jobs, when given the opportunity to maintain and/or create some, he declines.

-James Taranto is still very good at what he does.
