Wednesday Night News & Notes

What's up. Yea, I'm back writing again. I really missed it.

Here's what new in this crazy old world:

-Marines are badasses. That's hard for this squid to say BTW.

-You may have heard the story about a guy dressed as Santa who gave out presents to his family and then shot them to death. It allegedly was an honor killing perpetrated by a father who did not want his daughter dating a non-Muslim. We have to start calling these dishonorable killings.

-Iran says they will close the Strait of Hormuz, the US Navy says "oh no you won't". I transited that water way a couple of times and encountered some Iranian gun boats. Wanted to blow the bastards out of the water but it would have been an international incident so I was ordered to stand down. Too bad.

-Jenni Lake refused potentially life saving treatment for cancer because it could hurt her baby. The baby lived but Jenni did not. Heart breaking but heart warming at the same time.

-I don't think many would use the word "funny" and the name Arlen Specter in the same sentence. There's a good reason for that.
