Thanks to the Navy SEALs and the guts of the captain who succeeded on his second escape attempt:
The American captain of a cargo ship held hostage by pirates jumped overboard from the lifeboat where he was being held, and U.S. Navy SEALs shot and killed three of his four captors, according to a senior U.S. official with knowledge of the situation.Negotiations would not have worked with these people, the only thing they understand is power and force and the SEAL's showed them that there are consequences to their actions. Don't mess with the US and the US Navy.
Capt. Richard Phillips was helped out of the water off the Somali coast and is uninjured and in good condition, the official said. He was taken aboard the USS Bainbridge, a nearby naval warship.
At the time of the shootings, the fourth pirate was aboard the Bainbridge negotiating with officials, the source said. That pirate was taken into custody.
Obama would have let this play out for days in hopes of negotiating a settlement. That would have been disastrous for us in the region. Instead, we made our point with some bullets entering some pirate skulls. The only way they would understand.

But now that it's played out with great success, Obama is taking credit in almost every major press release... It was an "Obama Approved" plan, he's glad to see that his strategy worked... what a tool...
If it would have failed, he would have either kept his mouth shut indefinately, or comdemned the military operation... (as "insensitive"...)

You can spin this any way you want, but by Monday morning, America will believe that the Seals took out the pirates on Obama's orders. It will be another big plus for Obama and it will make all his critics once again look like fools.
Those of you lost in your small world of Republican this and Conservative that can argue all you want. This is not a winning issue for you any more. Find something else to whine about.
I DON'T CARE WHO GETS CREDIT AS LONG AS WE GOT OUR MAN BACK AND THE (PIRATES ha)ARE DEAD.KNOW LETS SEE WHAT KIND OF BALLS WE REALLY HAVE AND END THIS CHILDISH PIRATE CRAP WITH A COUPLE 2 TON BOMBS WHERE THEY LIVE SO NEXT TIME A SHIP IS FLYING THE UNITED STATES FLAG THEY WILL KNOW WHAT THERE ACTIONS ON US WILL BRING ON THEM.
