It wasn't easy as Brad Lidge did his best Mitch Williams impression but the Fightin's won it 4-3. Jimmy Rollins made a hell of a play to get the ball up the middle and flipping to Utley who fired a laser to Howard at first. Video here.
They will face either Milwaukee or the Dodgers starting on Wednesday with Cole Hamels taking the bump for the first game. Hopefully the Brewers can win with Sabathia on the hill and the Mets tank with Ollie Perez going. Perez has been known to get out there and throw batting practice to the opposing team.
The schedule would shake out this way: If the Brew Crew wins and the Yets lose we have them at home. If the choking Mets can eke out a win and Sabathia gets beat, we have Joe Torre's Dodgers at home.
