Maybe Krugman can write for the Newark Star-Ledger and Frank Rich can edit Playbills for off-Broadway productions. I figure Maureen Dowd can be his maid or something since she's eschewed that whole feminism thing as of today.

If this happens, the NY Daily News will be the only non-Murdoch owned paper in the city. The uber libs on Upper West Side will all simultaneously combust like the drummer in Spinal Tap. I really hope this happens.

You know what be even better, to have him say he'll buy and then pull out sending the stock on a precipitous slide into oblivion. Then perhaps Murdoch can buy it on the cheap and install an editorial team of Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Mary Katherine Ham, Allah pundit, Ace, Ed Morrisey and Lileks.
