Still busy with work and such.

Here's some stories that caught my eye:

-Congress is starting to understand just how damaging the ethanol sop they gave the agriculture indutry is, or to put it in easy to understand terms:

Scott Faber, vice president for federal affairs at the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), compared lawmakers to late-night revelers who are just beginning to understand the consequences of their actions.

“A lot of lawmakers are wondering who the hell they woke up with,” Faber said.

That "who" they woke up with is coyote ugly and won't leave quietly either.

-Global warming may temporarily "stop" due to falling temps:

Global warming will stop until at least 2015 because of natural variations in the climate, scientists have said.

Researchers studying long-term changes in sea temperatures said they now expect a "lull" for up to a decade while natural variations in climate cancel out the increases caused by man-made greenhouse gas emissions.
Al Gore, call your office.

-Armageddon!
