Blogging light this weekend due to coaching a bunch of twelve-year olds down at the Ripken facility in Aberdeen, MD.
This is where we're playing today:
It's a dream for a 12-year old boy to play in the majors, this may just be the closest he comes.
This is a 70-foot bases/50-foot mound scale version of Camden Yards and it's something 11 players will never forget. We went 1-1 yesterday and have a chance of advancing to the semi's today. My son got the save in the nightcap and we have two boys hit absolute moonshots over the fences. Good baseball indeed.
Pix later tonight.
Update: Ugghhh! Rainout. The bane of every kid (and coach).
