Jeez, what is wrong with these people? Old "Client #9" Spitzer's replacement had some trouble keeping it in his pants as well:

In a stunning revelation, both Paterson, 53, and his wife, Michelle, 46, acknowledged in a joint interview they each had intimate relationships with others during a rocky period in their marriage several years ago.

In the course of several interviews in the past few days, Paterson said he maintained a relationship for two or three years with "a woman other than my wife," beginning in 1999.

As part of that relationship, Paterson said, he and the other woman sometimes stayed at an upper West Side hotel — the Days Inn at Broadway and W. 94th St.

It's my guess that if they were staying at a Days Inn, he doesn't have the money that someone like Spitzer does.

So now we have a philandering governor, his philandering wife and it's NY getting screwed by having an untrustworthy Lieutenant Governor thrust upon them because Eliot Spitzer is a scumbag.

Listen people, it's not the sex, it's the fact that if a man's own wife can't trust him, how can an entire state?
