Dovetailing nicely with my last post that noted that a terrorist is a terrorist regardless of ideology, we have the happy story that Briana Waters was convicted in an eco-terrorism case:
TACOMA -- A federal jury has found accused Earth Liberation Front arsonist Briana Waters guilty of two charges stemming from the firebombing of a University of Washington research center.
The charges carry a mandatory minimum of five years in prison. Waters, a 32-year-old violin teacher from Oakland, Calif., faces a maximum term of 20 years.
The jury deadlocked on more serious charges, including conspiracy, and possession and use of a destructive device. The latter charge carries a minimum 30-year sentence.
ELF is a domestic terror group in the same way the Weathermen were or Timothy McVeigh. They are ideologically driven zealots who believe that their way is the One True Way.
Waters only true way now is the way to a prison cell .
