Via Fox News:

An explosive device damaged a military recruiting station at approximately 3:45 a.m. in Times Square early Thursday, and police blocked off the area to investigate.

The explosive device caused minor damage, and no one was injured, police said. The explosion shattered a glass entryway.

A witness decribed the explosion as, "loud enough that people at the Marriott Marquis Hotel heard it and saw a puff of smoke."
Not sure what this is as of yet. I'm really hoping that it's not an act of domestic terror against our military but given events in Berkeley and other areas, it can't be ruled out. I'm sure the NY Times will run numerous articles about how this is freedom of speech or some such nonsense.

Here's the Times Square webcam where traffic seems to be moving and more can be found here and here.
