Was the Weldon Raid Politically Motivated?

Yes, I believe it was. Weldon has always been a thorn in the side of Bush with his constant push for investigation into Able Danger and other issues. This investigation that led to yesterday's shenanigans started 2-years ago at Weldon's daughters request (and CREW) and they raid her house three weeks out from a tight election? Sounds a shady to me.

More telling is that if the Justiced Dept. chose to sink Weldon now, that means the administration has given up on retaining the House.

Is the Bush administration in the process of purging those who have not supported its policies? One must ask that question.
