Philly Papers to Lay Off Workers

Ad revenue is down and the product is still left-leaning. I'm not saying that the paper would sell more if they took a right-wing slant, but if they attemtpted to be fair people would trust them and get former readers back.

Take the endorsements of major candidates; today they endorsed Bob Casey over Rick Santorum, even though Casey has no experience and Santorum has major pull in the Senate.

This--like last years 21-day endorsement of John Kerry--is just another example of why people are canceling subscriptions.
