Playing By Gaza Rules?

Sphere: Related Content

In Tom Friedmans book "From Beirut to Jerusalem," he talked of Hafez Assad and his destruction of the radical city Hama as "Hama Rules".

Israel is now playing by Gaza rules:

Hamas sources said Western diplomats, whom they did not name, had told the group that Israel had prepared a 13-man hit list headed by exiled leader Khaled Meshaal and including Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and Foreign Minister Mahmoud al-Zahar.

The fact that this info came from Hamas shows several things: the Israeli's have them scared and Hamas is attempting to play the legitimate government card to protect themselves while also showing that fear.

The men on that list are probably in hiding and will do anything to prevent themselves from visiting Allah and getting busy with 72 virgins.

Either way, it makes Hamas look weak which is death to mideast leaders. The Reuters reporter most likely thought he was alerting the world to the evil that is Israel. Instead he was showing the fear prevalent in the terrorist government that currently is harboring criminals who've kidnapped a young soldier.

Good.
