Just Shut the Hell Up!

Sometimes you just get to the point where you've had enough. This is that point:

CHRISTIAN groups led a furious campaign against Hollywood yesterday, accusing the Golden Globe Awards of promoting films with gay or “leftist” themes to serve a political agenda.

The criticism was made after Brokeback Mountain, a film about the forbidden love between gay Wyoming cowboys, won four awards. Other winners included Philip Seymour Hoffman, named Best Actor for his portrayal of the homosexual writer Truman Capote; and Felicity Huffman, the Desperate Housewives actress who played a transsexual with a gay prostitute son in Transamerica.

So friggin what? We all know that Hollywood is inhabited by elitist leftists who say absolutely nothing of consequence. Hell, I like to bust on them as much as anybody even though it's fish in a barrel.

The part about Brokeback Mountain is the part that irks me. What's the point in screaming about a movie? You people are showing your utter hatred of homosexuals and it's truly sickening. Why waste your energy? This is America, a country where a film can be made about anything. Hell, the highest grossing movie a few weeks ago is a movie about graphic dismemberment.

Exercise your rights and choose not to see the movie. I don't care if a film about two gay cowboys makes $30-million or $130-million, it doesn't effect me either way. I'm not gay but really have no issues with those who are. I link to sites written by gay men or women because they are good writers not good gay writers.

You people need to get over yourselves and stop embarrassing me and you. Your children will not be infected with a virus that makes them gay simply because a movie was made about a gay affair on the range. Newsflash! You are born gay or hetero, you aren't turned gay. It's as inherent as blue eyes or a receding hairline.

Note that the article appeared in a British paper. They seem to have played on the European belief that Americans hate homosexuals--a falsehood perpetuated by idiots like these.

Let's get on to more important things like winning the global war on terror. If we lose that, the newly reformed caliphate will have as much mercy on Christians as they will on gays. The only difference is they'll behead the Christians and stone to death the homosexuals.
