I have made it very clear that the actions of Lynndie England and Charles Graner were despicable and they deserve prison for what they've done. That said, Katinula calls me out for...Well you try to figure out why:
On the other hand, England is a 'skank' and a 'dirty whore'; he doesn't say why, so I'm left to assume it is because she had...GASP...sex while she was in Iraq and got pregnant. For someone so concerned with prejudices and Nazi this and Nazi that, you would think he wouldn't chose (sic) those specific words to describe a woman soldier. She is morally weak, there is no doubt about that, and I'm sure a lot of other words that a former soldier has every right to call her, but I think 'dirty whore' shows a little bit of his own prejudices.
Maybe it's just me, but is it normal behavior for women to attach a dog leash to a guy or take pictures of themselves pointing to a man's unit? Perhaps in the liberal world. Another thing I can't quite decipher is how does me calling a a woman a skank equate to me calling someone a Nazi and choosing my words? Hell, liberals throw the word Nazi around like a stoner saying "dude".
If it makes Katinula feel any better, I'll give equal time and call Charles Graner a dick, bastard or prick. They should be the rough equivalent of skank and dirty whore. Or better yet, how about I just call him a "Kos". That's about the worst thing I could imagine anyone being called. Kind of like the "C" word to a woman.
As for Alberto Gonzales, he was asked to give a legal opinion on what is torture and did just that. Of course you would actually have to read something beside Josh Marshall or the Nation to get that story.
I bet the left is truly missing John Ashcroft, as AG Gonzales is not as fun to pick on.
BTW, I called her a "nasty whore" not a "dirty whore". I honestly have no idea if she's dirty or not. I've made it very clear (but obviously not clear enough, perhaps I'll try pictures) that the only prejudice I have is against anyone who brings discredit on the good men and women of the US military. I couldn't care less if she was a virgin or banging the entire camp, she put her fellow service people in a very bad position (no pun intended) and became a non-entity to me at that point.

I guess you'd have to be a woman to understand why 'skank' and 'nasty whore' (sorry for the misquote) have a very specific connotation having to do with a woman's sexuality. And the reference to Nazi 'this and that' was a parallel on how sensitive I find you to be about other people's prejudices--I thought I explained that when I said 'for someone so concerned with prejudices'.
And you are completely correct to not call it normal behavior, but the question you once again don't address is this administrations criminal support of torture. And I thought you gave me a lot more credit, you know I read conservative bloggers as well. I believe the links I provided for that post were all from Andrew Sullivan--a republican and conservative.
Stop making it partisan, torture should not be supported. It erodes our moral standing in the world, and if we don't have that, what are we fighting for?
