I hate the War on Drugs.

It's a failure on so many levels and generally only ruins the lives of people who made a mistake that may not have hurt anyone else. Should drug dealers who sell to kids and make neighborhoods war zones be put away? Of course. I'm talking about the farce that is mandatory minimum sentences and locking up dope smokers who aren't really harming anyone else.

I'm a big believer in rehabilitation and common sense when dealing with the drug issue as the last ten years have shown that in its current form the WoD is a failure on a scale that may only be exceeded by the welfare fiasco.
