I was watching the Red Sox/Yanks game on ESPN last night. Kerry threw out the first pitch to some boos in Boston. That was not the highlight however, when the announcers asked him about the desinated hitter rule, Kerry said (and I'm paraphrasing) "I hate it" When pushed on whether it should be abolished he repeated that he hates the rule. If a guy can't take a stand on something as trivial as the DH rule, how can we expect him to take a definitive stand on anything. I can't find a transcript or anything verbatim.
