Four years ago tonight, I sat and watched Bush effectively grab the nomination. I was a McCain guy early on in his campaign. I was hit by what a great guy McCain was but what a horrible candidate. He had the opportunity to hammer Bush on numerous issues but chose to stick to his talking points. It ruined his campaign. I still think McCain would've been an excellent president although I'm thoroughly a Bush supporter now.

We now have a clear choice, Kerry vs. Bush. What issues are most important to you? To me it's national security, to you it may be other issues. Let's debate in a civil manner (at least until you say something profoundly stupid, then I'll smack the hell out of your views).

Kerry just said in his victory speech that he is against outsourcing of jobs to other nations, and in the next breath said that he would raise the minimum wage. Let's explore this, Kerry intends make it more expensive for businesses to operate, but will fight to keep jobs from going overseas where cheaper labor is abundant. I guess this makes sense to someone, just not me.

This is the beginning of Campaign 2004, let's get it on!
