The prevailing wisdom is that Republicans have cornered the market on defense, foreign policy, taxes, and, post-Clinton, morality (although anyone who saw the butchering of the former Drug Czar may not agree). As for the Democrats, they are widely believed to be more inclined to lead on minority, domestic policy, social, and environmental issues. Of course this is not inclusive of all members of each party.

When I first started this blog, we were in the midst of the build up to invading Iraq and fighting the evil entity known as al-Qaeda. My main premise was to talk about serious environmental issues, as well as the any issues of the day that warrant comment. I will begin daily (or as much as possible) comments concerning the environmental issues of the day.

Starting with my next post, at least 50% of the posts on this blog will pertain to these issues.
