2 Killed in Explosion at Chinese Internet Cafe

This seems ominous:

BEIJING -- Explosions rocked two Internet cafes in central China, killing two people, injuring four and leaving the premises spattered with blood and broken glass, a local official and state media said Saturday.

Authorities refused to say if bombs were involved in the blasts, which occurred Friday night about 10 minutes apart at two cafes within about 33 feet of each other in Hefei, the capital of Anhui province. No motive was apparent for an attack on the premises.

Could it be possible that the Chinese are not able to control the news that is flooding their country via the net (despite the cowardly assistance of Microsoft or Google) and are now trying new methods to keep the flow of info from the populace? Remember, they killed dissenters in Tiananmen Square in full view of the world in the not-so-distant past. I see them as having no restraint when suppressing the free dissemination of information.

Of course China has rebellious elements within their borders, but why hit an internet cafe? It would seem that these groups would want freer access to information and the truth.

I'm just speculating of course.
