Support Our Troops By Supporting the Yellow Ribbon Club

Sphere: Related Content

A really good couple in South Jersey have been helping our troops for years and I've written about them numerous times. Their son was stationed in Iraq a few years ago.

They could always use donations but they will soon need more as the 17,000 more troops in Afghanistan will need to be supported by the YRC as well.

Go to their website here. If you're in the area you can see a list of needed supplies here. If you wish, you can donate via Paypal at the homepage.

They almost never miss a homecoming for a local soldier, sailor or Marine but when they do, they make up for it.

Yellow Ribbon Club Still Needs Your Help

Sphere: Related Content

Leslie Drummond is the mother of a Marine who has served in Iraq. I mentioned Leslie numerous times before as one who is not just supporting our troops but has made it her mission to make their lives easier.

Leslie started the Yellow Ribbon Club three years ago and since then has sent thousands of care packages and provided comfort to the families of those serving.

I'm posting this in hopes of making her organization more widely known throughout the nation thus helping her keep up her great work.

The YRC has a nice new website with all the required info you need to help.

Thanks to everyone in advance.
