Air Scamerica Exec Busted for Using Prostitute

Boy, we knew Air Scamerica is a ratings disaster and that they are in bankruptcy but jeez-- Senator Debbie Stabenow's husband and Air Scamerica exec has been reduced to buck-fifty hookers:

TROY, Mich. (AP) - The husband of U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow told police he used the Internet to make a date with a prostitute and paid her $150 for sex at a hotel, according to a police report.

Thomas Athans, 46, co-founder of the liberal TalkUSA Radio network, was stopped by police who were investigating Internet-based prostitution at the hotel, according to a police report obtained Wednesday by The Associated Press under the state Freedom of Information Act.

The Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News first reported on the case in stories on their Web sites.Stabenow, in a statement, said it was "very disturbing and serious. Obviously it's a deeply difficult and personal matter."

Athans said in a statement issued by his attorney that "no words can fully express how sorry I am. At the time this incident occurred, I took responsibility for my actions and fully cooperated with law enforcement."

$150 seems more in line with what most of us can afford but the word is he was in there for only fifteen minutes. So the dude paid $10 per minutes for the lovin and if you figure a minute or so to get undressed and then a few minutes to re-dress, it was somewhere in the area of $15 a minute. Maybe a little less if he did it like Spitzer and kept his black socks on.

Seriously though, do these guys not realize that that girl (picture right) was with numerous other dudes who forked over $150 and the risk they put their wives in? HIV is not a death sentence as much as it used to be but it is a life shortener and this guy was so into himself that he didn't care.
I am happily married and have never cheated on my wife so maybe $150 is the going rate, I don't know. Yet it seems to me that there are a hell of a lot of guys who could afford a $150 sex tab and many of them probably were getting busy with the hooker, Alycia Martin. Perhaps if Mr. Athans allowed Air Scamerica to scam more charities, he'd be able to afford something more in the Spitzer range.
