Lazy Blogging by Think Progress

Left-wing blog Think Regress Progress was feeling pretty good about themselves when they thought they had an exclusive showing John McCain plagiarized a speech made in 1996. Unfortunately for them, in their haste to smear McCain ala the NY Times, they failed to research the story and now have withdrawn it.

The left knows that the Democratic campaign is going to end in party schism and disarray. They need a McCain scandal even if the have to make it up and keep on tripping over themselves every time they try. I must say it is enjoyable watching it play out.

Being wrong sucks, being wrong and having your laziness linked to by Matt Drudge where a few million can see it must suck about thirty times as much.
