Friday Night Music--Christmas Edition

Sphere: Related Content

It's the season for peace, happiness and giving. In that vein, I bring you the best Christmas music videos ever released.

Let's start with one that is not so peaceful, not so happy and not so giving. The Kinks Father Christmas is all that and more showing their tongue in cheek style. Video is horrible but sound is good:

Next is the Waitresses Christmas Wrapping. It's an irritating song the rest of the year but tolerable from about December 15-25:

Next, what would any Christmas video post be without Band Aid performing Do They Know It's Christmas? I give credit to Sir Bob Geldof for getting together the biggest stars in British music back in 1984. Unfortunately, they included Midge Ure and Boy George but hey, the thought was right. Another unfortunate effect was that it spurred USA for Africa and Bob Geldof should be flogged for that (or at least forced to shave his entire body like he did in The Wall). I have no idea what was up with Sting's hair and Bananarama?:

Anyway all, Merry Christmas and enjoy a great holiday with your families.
