Why is Pelosi Harming Our Military?

The only answer to the question posed in the headline is that it is the only recourse she has to appease the anti-war idiots on the left.

Speaker Pelosi is pushing hard for a non-binding resolution calling the deaths of Armenians at the hands of the Ottoman Empire genocide. Jed Babbin explains it expertly here. The events were truly horrid yet occurred nearly a century ago and it is still an open wound to Armenians and Turks (example: this website that took alot of time and effort to create). The Turks have threatened to repeal our use of Incirlik Air Base for supporting the Iraq war effort, a move that would severely harm our anti-terrorism efforts in Iraq and would put our troops in great jeopardy, which is of course Pelosi's aim.

The House majority leadership has had no success in stopping our progress in Iraq and it appears we are turning the corner with regard to winning the war, especially against al-Qaeda. Pelosi can't allow that to happen because it would hurt her party politically and the GOP may gain momentum that propels them to retaking one or both parts of the legislative branch.

Why does Pelosi not sponsor a non-binding resolution condemning Germany for genocide during WWII or Russia for murdering ten million people during Stalins reign of terror? We can open up those barely scabbed wounds as well if that is Pelosi's aim. Hell, while we're at it, why not dredge up liberal icon FDR's forced internment of the Japanese during WWII as well? We shouldn't just scold those overseas now should we Nancy?

Now we're seeing the dark recesses of the liberal left and the democratic party. They are not even hiding their intent to disrupt the war effort at all costs and using whatever tactic they think will accomplish the goal of defeat for the US. It must be a sad existence to live day in and day out hoping more soldiers and Marines die and that bad events happen in the war so that ones party can gain political advantage. For the highest ranking woman in the US government, it makes me sick to my stomach to see Pelosi selling out our volunterr military so she can gain the acceptance of a small group of whiny, selfish liberal traitors.
