Employers--the real fuel of America's economy--got some good news today:
WASHINGTON — Health care industry workers assigned as "charge nurses" should be considered supervisory and thus ineligible for union representation, a federal panel held today, in a decision with sweeping implications for the broader labor force.
The National Labor Relations Board, in a 3-2 ruling, also said people who work supervisory shifts only on a rotating basis may be exempt from supervisory status in some cases, but not others, depending on the frequency and consistency of the supervisory shifts.
This will allow some employers to deem employee's supervisors and not allow them to organize thus saving thousands of jobs and saving consumers money.
The AFL-CIO is against it, as is the PuffHo so it must be a good ruling.
