The Bush is Conservative Myth

I find it humorous whenever W. is labeled a "conservative." A conservative--at least on the fiscal side of things--believes in smaller government ala Ronald Reagan. Bush and the Legislative branch have overseen a rapidly expanding government that is the equal of any donk.

CNN reports that the majority of Americans subscribe to the small government theory:

Queried about their views on the role of government, 54 percent of the 1,013 adults polled said they thought it was trying to do too many things that should be left to individuals and businesses. Only 37 percent said they thought the government should do more to solve the country's problems.

That is not good for the Dems and it's not good for the GOP unless Bush can pare back spendng over the next two years.
