Glenn Greenwald's Jealous

Sphere: Related Content

A few days ago, Pam Oshry, AKA Atlas, conducted an interview with John Bolton. The interview can be found here. (link added)

The ever tedious Glenn Greenwald is incredibly jealous about this:

But all of that pales in comparison to the fact that U.N. Ambassador John Bolton, on Saturday, in the middle of the most pressing crisis the U.N. has faced since he was appointed to that position, decided to sit for an hour-long, one-on-one "interview" and chose as his journalistic interrogator . . . LGF commenter Pamela "Atlas" Oshry of the blog AtlasShrugs, whose views are so far outside of what is mainstream, in equal parts inane and despicable, that it would be impossible to describe fully.

It's easy to see why Bolton conducted his interview with Atlas; one, he gets to tweak the media that distorted his record during the confirmation hearing and forced President Bush to make him a recess appointment.

Second, Republicans trust their supporters in the blogosphere because they know that the story will be put out without window dressing. Plus they know that when posting about them--especially days before an election--they won't inexplicably post a picture of a fellow Republican in blackface.

Don't worry Glenn, you may be able to score an interview with the mayor of Bayonne if you play your cards right. I could probably arrange it for you. It'll probably have to be sans sock puppets, though.
