8/16 Could Have Been 9/11

Today is the day that the investigators believed the terrorists plots that were foiled in London were to take place.

A flight from London to DC was diverted to Logan Airport in Boston because a female passenger went psycho but it appears as if it was nothing more clautrophobia...or not. Details are pretty sketchy at this point. A spokesman said she had a screwdriver, vaseline and Arabic literature but that's not been confirmed or completely denied.

Allah is all over it as usual.

Needless to say, I imagine nerves are tattered at TSA.

Now back to the post. If today was to be the day that bombs were set off on aircraft, it would've been another date which would live in infamy. It's not the case due to the dogged efforts of investigators from Pakistan to the UK to the US.

The constant vigilance of those who protect us should be applauded just as we slammed them everytime they did something wrong.

Anyway, tapes of 9/11 911 calls were released today. Melissa Doi's call was highlighted by CBS but there are 1,600 of them.

Video and audio of Kevin Cosgrove's 911 call can be seen/heard here. Neither are for the faint of heart. I had never seen the video of Kevin Cosgrove but it is extremely tough to get through until the fateful end. Be warned.
