A Non-Intellectual

Ace:

As for myself: I actually would kind of like to be an intellectual, but I haven't the patience or discipline for becoming one the hard way, and I also can't believe what Chomsky tells me, so, alas, I have to honestly assess and accept myself as a non-intellectual.

A great post all around. Please read it before you read this.

Leftists consider themselves to be the brightest, the keepers of knowledge and the ones who know the Right Way.

It's all bullshit, they haven't a clue as much as I haven't a clue.

They held the high perch until the advent of the Internet and have since been exposed as surely as Toto exposed the Wizard of Oz by people such as Goldstein and Ace. They come across as all-knowing, but when their theories are put to the test, they've been shown as weak people who parrot the lines they've read and remembered by rote.

I am a proud Non-Intellectual because real life Intellectuals are bores and windbags who create bizarre theories that others eat up and regurgitate ala Chomsky.

I am not an idealogue either, I believe in the conservative ideals of smaller government, lower taxes and hard work to attain ones goals. I also believe that if two guys want to get hitched--so be it, as long as they are stuck with the same rules as hetero's.

The modern left is built on a farce and is already well into their implosion stage. One can only hope they lose seats in the house and senate in November so we can see the completed self destruction.
