Card Mart has written an excellent rebuttal to Dr. Diana York Blaine--"resident Feminist Theorist on the USC campus". The good doctor is a strong believer in the theory that all men are rapists.
As we've seen with the Duke rape case, the expectation of being innocent until proven guilty has been destroyed by the feminist community. They feel that facts are not the issue but accusations are enough. In perpetuating this line of thinking, they've trampled on one of the most important constitutional right afforded all citizens.
Sadly, she seems to have indoctrinated many young people in her feminist cult. Interesting there are no negative responses about her teaching.
Perhaps it's these questions she puts forth on her website that has made her such an excellent "Feminist Theorist"(I have included my answers to the good doctor's questions in parentheses):
Should you shave under your arms? (Yes)
Should you get married? (Yes)
Should you get plastic surgery? (If you look like most feminists, yes)
Should you buy an SUV? (Yes, the most gas-guzzling type available)
Should you watch The Bachelor? (Uh, no, unless you've chosen not to shave under your arms in which case you won't have a date anyway)
Should you join a sorority? (Yeah, sorority chicks are hot)
Should you go to church? (It's a personal choice, not one to be made by a "Feminist Theorist" for you)
Should you wear make-up? (Yes)
Should you keep your boyfriend? (You may not be able to if you choose not to shave your armpits, get plastic surgery or wear make-up. He'll leave you)
Should you go on a diet? (If you are overweight)
Should you douche? (If you want to keep that boyfriend it may be a good idea)
Dr Blaine wonders how anyone could possibly begin to answer these questions without knowing what brilliant women have thought and said about these issues and many others. For that reason she longs to share what she knows, and what her truth is, and how she lives her life, in order that the wonderful women who follow along behind her can find their own truths and live fully realized lives.
Is that last paragraph the most self-righteous, solipsistic statement you've eaver read? Yes. I believe it is.
