Phillies Are Sizzling

The Phillies are on a huge run right now losing only one of their last thirteen. They have been getting timely hitting and great fielding. They are so hot that when Aaron Rowand was forced to go on the DL, backup Shane Victorino stepped up with a 4 for 4 night.

The Phils are nipping at the Mets who they took two out of three from this past week and have the Brewers starting Tuesday. They have taken both of the games from the hot-hitting Reds with great pitching from phenom Cole Hamels and a gem last night by John Lieber.

The only team even remotely as hot is the San Diego Padres (my son's favorite team) who went from worst to first in the last two weeks.

If the Phillies has even a so-so April, they'd be leading the East by six games.
