Now this is what would make zoos real money:
Bears killed and ate a monkey in a Dutch zoo in front of horrified visitors, witnesses and the zoo said Monday. In the incident Sunday at the Beekse Bergen Safari Park, several Sloth bears chased the Barbary macaque into an electric fence, where it was stunned.
It recovered and fled onto a wooden structure, where one bear pursued and mauled it to death.
This is nature at its finest. The macaque was dinner for three bears...end of story.
Everyone watches the Discovery Channel to see a cheetah hunt down a gazelle, it's exciting stuff. This was the Discovery Channel live.
Spare the "horrified visitors" line. The bears are obviously carnivores and the macaque was lunch. Natural instinct and all that.
