Seymour Hersh says that the US is gearing up for war with Iran. Seymour Hersh has been wrong too many times to count:
One of the options under consideration involves the possible use of a bunker-buster tactical nuclear weapon, such as the B61-11, to insure the destruction of Iran's main centrifuge plant at Natanz, Hersh writes.
Hersh goes to the nuclear card and the left will get all riled up. He lists sources that are anonymous so the story can't be confirmed or denied.
First off, we should have a plan for dealing with Iran should they attempt to close the Straits of Hormuz. That in itself would be a threat to our national security. We also should prepare to use whatever weapons are at our disposal. Am I advocating the use of tactical nukes? No, I am not. But, any good military tactician must incorporate a plan for everything.
